Power of Destruction (破壊の力 Hakai no chikara) is an incredible godly power utilized by Gods of Destruction and those trained in their ways.
Overview[]
The Power of Destruction is an ability harnessed by an individual that allows them to wield the Energy of Destruction for devastating techniques such as Hakai. In order for this ability to be most effective, the user must be prepared to act like a Destroyer and maintain that mindset for as long as they fight.
In the anime, it was shown that every God of Destruction possesses this power, while users who have trained in the ways of Destroyers can also learn how to use this power, though typically not to the same extent. Top, a Destroyer candidate, needed a Destroyer Form to manifest his Power of Destruction, and in the manga, Vegeta was also shown to need a transformation to wield the ability to its fullest. Due to not being adept with the Power of Destruction, Goku's Hakai technique was not as potent compared to an actual Destroyer.
Usage and Power[]
The Power of Destruction is used by the Gods of Destruction through techniques like the Hakai. In the anime, it also grants them the Energy of Destruction.
During the manga version of the "Future" Trunks Saga, Goku utilizes the Power of Destruction through the use of Hakai which he attempts to use on Fused Zamasu.
In the anime version of the Universe Survival Saga, Top first displayed the ability to take on a Destroyer Form to utilize the Power of Destruction. He later utilized this in the manga version of the Universal Conflict Saga.
In the Granolah the Survivor Saga, Vegeta first utilizes the power of destruction in the form of Ultra Ego against Granolah after his Super Saiyan God SS Evolved form is overwhelmed by the Cerealian.
