Power of Destruction (破壊の力 Hakai no chikara) is an incredible godly power utilized by Gods of Destruction and those trained in their ways.

In the anime, all Gods of Destruction possess this power.

In the manga, the Power of Destruction can be unleashed by a transformation. However, the state can only be utilized when the user is in the right mindset to act as a Destroyer.

Usage and Power

The Power of Destruction is used by the Gods of Destruction through techniques like the Hakai. In the anime, it also grants them the Energy of Destruction.

During the manga version of the "Future" Trunks Saga, Goku utilizes the Power of Destruction through the use of Hakai which he attempts to use on Fused Zamasu.

The Power of Destruction appears in certain video games such through Beerus' use of Hakai on Goku Black and Fused Zamasu in Dragon Ball FighterZ. God of Destruction Top can utilize it in Dragon Ball Legends and as part of the Legendary Pack 1 DLC in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. Goku can utilize Hakai in Dragon Ball Heroes and Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission.

In Dragon Ball Xenoverse, Beerus trains the Future Warrior allowing them to utilize the Power of Destruction in the form of Sphere of Destruction.[2]

In Xenoverse 2, the Future Warrior can train under Patroller Academy Instructor Beerus, allowing them to utilize the Power of Destruction in the form of Sphere of Destruction.[3] Additionally as part of the Legendary Pack 1 DLC, Power of Destruction is called Power of Hakai! in the description for Toppo (God of Destruction)'s Destructive Fracture Super Skill and can be obtained by the Future Warrior randomly by defeating Toppo (God of Destruction) in New Parallel Quest 145: "Other World Challenger" (with the in-game explaination being them apparently learning the skill via Mimicry as with most of the skills that aren't taught).[4] However the Future Warrior is unable to mimic the technique's physical head grab due to lacking the same body type as Toppo, thus utilizes Telekinesis in conjunction with the Power of Hakai! to emulate the head grab though the use of telekinesis makes the technique resemble Choke with the Power of Hakai! emanating from their hand.

In World Mission, Beat can learn or obtain certain God of Destruction techniques such as Sphere of Destruction and his ancestor Goku's Hakai.[5]

In Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, Beerus' God of Destruction's Anger is revealed to a Hakai-based Finger Beam technique.[6]
