"Potara" (ポタラ, Potara) is the third chapter of Super Dragon Ball Heroes: Dark Demon Realm Mission!.^[1]

Summary[]

Xeno Vegeta vs Dark DB Cell — Vegeta easily overwhelms Cell

Chronoa discovers two changes in history and decides to split into two groups, she goes with Xeno Goku, and Xeno Trunks goes with a new helper - who turns out to be Xeno Vegeta. Xeno Vegeta tells Xeno Trunks that he will prove he is the strongest, not Xeno Goku. Xeno Vegeta wants to get going immediately, but Chronoa tells him that they all must pose first, Xeno Vegeta ignores her and tells her that they should just get going.

Xeno Vegeta and Xeno Trunks arrive back in time to Age 767, and Xeno Vegeta gives Xeno Trunks a device from Bulma that can locate the Dark Dragon Balls. The device leads them to the Cell Games arena, where they see the Z Fighters including Gohan already defeated by Xeno Cell, who has a Dark Dragon Ball merged in his chest. Xeno Vegeta easily beats down Xeno Cell and then destroys most of his body with a Final Flash, shocking Xeno Trunks with his strength. Xeno Vegeta prepares to finish Xeno Cell off but is suddenly sent flying by Demon God Gravy before he has the chance, Xeno Trunks rushing off to catch him. Gravy brags about his strength as a Demon God to his companion, Putine, who reminds him that they were were sent to collect the Dark Dragon Ball. Realizing that they are outmatched by their enemies, Xeno Trunks places the Potara he obtained from Chronoa onto himself and the unconscious Xeno Vegeta, fusing the two into Xeno Vegeks.

Xeno Vegeks suddenly appears, striking Gravy and announcing his identity, Gravy attempts to strike Xeno Vegeks with his hammer, but Xeno Vegeks easily blocks it and knocks Gravy away, angering him. Putine states that they must take them down to prevent them from interfering later, and she uses her Dark Magic on Xeno Cell to induce a Dark Evolution.

Game and Manga differences[]

In the manga, Xeno Trunks arrives with Xeno Vegeta in order to combat Xeno Cell. While in the trailer for the game, Trunks instead brings Beat, Note, and Xeno Goku.
In the trailer for the game, Xeno Goku turns into Super Saiyan 3 while the manga instead introduces Xeno Vegeks when Xeno Vegeta and Xeno Trunks fuse.
In the game, several Demon Realm Soldiers accompany Gravy and Putine, along with Strengthened Dr. Gero and brainwashed Red Ribbon Androids.
In the game, Xeno Cell creates several Cell Juniors to aid him, who are empowered with dark magic.

Trivia[]

This chapter along with the following chapter and its events are loosely based on the Cell X Saga added in SDBH Mission 2.
