The Planet Burst (惑星は破壊されます; Wakusei Ha Hakai Saremasu) is Kid Buu's most powerful attack that he used to destroy the Earth. In fact, Goku himself stated that the Planet Burst he used to destroy Earth had enough power to destroy the planet 10 times. First, he raises up his right hand and gathers enough energy to destroy a planet in the form of a giant, potent, bright-pink energy ball. The attack is first used by Gotenks Buu in an attempt to kill Gohan and Tien at the same time. He is about to launch the attack when Goku arrives and slices him in half. It is later used by Gohan Buu in his battle with Vegito. Majin Buu explains that every time he destroys a planet he takes their energy with him and this attack is the culmination of the energy taken from every planet he's destroyed. He not only used this on the Earth, but he also used it on many other planets to track down Goku and Vegeta. He later used a similar attack numerous times on both Goku and Mr. Buu during the final battle on the Supreme Kai Planet, but it was smaller than the normal attack. Prior to this battle, in his fight against Gotenks, Super Buu uses a similar attack in which he condenses a small purple ball into his palm and launches it at the opponent. This small but powerful attack sends Gotenks flying and destroys half of Dende's Lookout.
The attack was named in the Budokai Tenkaichi series and is Kid Buu's Ultimate Blast. It was also named Vanishing Ball in the Budokai series. It also appeared in Dragon Ball Z: Infinite World. This technique was also used in the Budokai series as a part of his ultimate attack, where he sets off the attack with a Kamehameha.
