Pharaoh Totenhotep is a boss in Dragon Ball Z: Buu's Fury.

Biography[]

Background[]

Pharaoh Totenhotep was the pharaoh of Diablo Desert back in ancient times. After his death, he was mummified and sealed in the Kyodai Pyramid.

Totenhotep is confronted by Trunks

The expedition led by Dr. Challenger awoke Totenhotep and his undead servants.

Trunks fights him at the end of the Pyramid. After he is defeated, Pharaoh Totenhotep drops his headdress, which Trunks takes and gives to the members of the Royal Academy of Science in exchange for the Seven-Star Dragon Ball.

In Buu's Fury, as a mummy, Totenhotep was able to hold his own against Goten and Trunks individually but was defeated.

  • While he does not appear in the game again, the enemies identified by the scouter as Pharaoh completely resemble him.
  • He is the second mummified Earthling to appear in the series after Bandages the Mummy. However, according Daizenshuu, Bandages the Mummy is a Monster-type Earthling, while Pharaoh Totenhotep was originally a Human-type Earthling.
