Panzy (パンジ Panji) is the fifth episode of Dragon Ball Daima. This episode aired in Japan on November 8, 2024.
Summary[]
Panzy asks Goku how he is so strong despite being a child and he responds by telling her that he simply trains leading to her confusion. Noticing that he doesn't have the signature pointed ears of the Demon Realm Race, she asks where he is from. Though he says that he is a Saiyan, Glorio is quick to point out that he is from the Second Demon World to avoid unnecessary questions and suspicions. The three begin to head off with Goku accidentally letting slip that they are on the way to Kadan Castle and so Panzy invites herself along despite Glorio's request for her not to follow.
Meanwhile the military police of the Gendarmerie begin to awaken after being previously knocked out by Goku with their leader demanding that he be found.
After exchanging names, Panzy asks Goku what magic he is good at and demonstrates her ability to lift a small rock though states that her real speciality is with machine tinkering. The small group continue to make conversation as they take a shortcut on their journey, discussing the cruelty of the Gendarmeries and King Gomah. Panzy reveals that she is 82 years old, quite young for her kind who live to be up to 1,000 years and much to Goku's surprise that she is actually older than he is.
In the Demon King Palace of the First Demon World, a babysitter recites a story to a young Dende when Gomah enters. He demands that she read out to him with more emotion in her voice as he needs to be taken good care of due to how important he will become for him.
Eventually Goku, Glorio, Shin and Panzy reach Kadan Castle where they are greeted in hostile fashion by its guards. It is here that Panzy reveals herself to be the Princess and daughter of King Kadan. Heading inside, they meet with the King who becomes annoyed that Glorio has merely brought along children when he had been promised warriors strong enough to have defeated the great Majin Buu. Panzy reassures her father of his strength, having witnessed him single handedly take down the Gendarmerie. After revealing that Goku and Shin are actually from the outside world, Kadan voices his intention to become the Supreme Demon King as he does not believe that the villainous Gomah is fit for the position.
Kadan offers Panzy up for marriage to Goku should all his plans play out though he tells them all that he is actually already married and has two children much to Kadan and Panzy's surprise due to his child-like appearance. Shin explains that they were turned into children by Gomah and they are currently planning to acquire the three Demon Realm Dragon Balls from the Tamagami. Unable to truly believe Goku is as powerful as he is being made out to be the King puts him through a demonstration where he must face off against his soldiers all at once. With little effort and not receiving so much as a scratch, Goku takes down the horde of soldiers.
Later that evening, Kadan's men load equipment on to the Demon Realm Plane that Kadan has decided to lend Glorio so that they can make their trip to the first Dragon Ball. Shin asks the King if there is a way that he can help their friends Bulma, Vegeta and Piccolo make the trip to the Demon Realm as they do not have the pin number required to use Sir Warp. The King calls forth Hybis and asks that he go and retrieve their friends and bring them over.
Panzy appears carrying an excessive amount of luggage, wanting to go along with Goku as she desires to see Gomah get taken down. Boarding the ship and saying their farewells, Glorio takes off with a planned four day trip to the Dragon Ball. However mere moments after having taken to the air the engine begins to sputter and the ship crash lands to the ground below.
