
PUBG Mobile is a free-to-play battle royale video game developed by LightSpeed & Quantum Studio, a division of Tencent Games. It is a mobile game adaptation of PUBG: Battlegrounds. It was initially released for Android and iOS on March 19, 2018.
It was published by multiple publishers in different regions, including Krafton, Tencent, and VNG Games. By December 2022, PUBG Mobile had accumulated around 1.3 billion downloads while grossing over $9 billion, making it the third highest-grossing mobile game. It is also the second most-played mobile video game of all time.
On July 13, 2023, Dragon Ball Super skins for Goku (Base and Super Saiyan), Vegeta (Base and Super Saiyan), Ultimate Gohan, Piccolo, and Frieza were added to the game within their own exclusive character sets which come with weapon skin wraps and outfits. Also Emperor Pilaf and Korin are in the game as companion. New Dragon Ball themed game modes were also added such as Shenron gameplay where players will run around the map collecting Dragon Balls which the one who gets all seven can make a wish on Shenron for advanced supplies, stronger Kamehameha or fast healing. The game mode also features multiple Dragon Ball items and power ups to pick up such as Flight, Kamehameha, Senzu Bean, Dragon Radar and air car. The map also features many Dragon Ball locations such as World Martial Arts Tournament arena, Kame House, Korin Tower and Dragon Ball village. This game mode also features a secret challenge where the team of players must find the Dragon Balls, defend the alter and summon Shenron to win. However, with the challenge of collecting a Dragon Ball exposes their location to enemy players.
The crossover event also features a game mode called Battle Royal: Dragon Ball Super, where players can play as one of the four Dragon Ball skins and fight each other in a battle royal using Ki Blasts and Energy Waves.
