The Tournament Saga continues after the Emperor Pilaf Saga. These VHS installments follow the model of the last VHS of the Goku Saga VHS', with three episodes per VHS. They contain episodes 14 to 28. Unlike the Emperor Pilaf Saga, however, it was not distributed by KidMark (with all following North America Sagas not being distributed by KidMark either).

Red Ribbon Army Saga

These VHS follow the Tournament Saga VHS, continuing the three-episodes-per-VHS pattern. They contain episodes 29 to 45.

General Blue Saga

Still with the "three episodes" pattern, the General Blue Saga VHS contain episodes 46 to 54.

Boxed Sets

Boxed sets were also released by Pioneer, which contained the previously-mentioned Volumes. Boxed Set I, released in VHS and DVD format, contained Volumes 1-25 and includes the Saiyan Saga. Boxed Set II, released in VHS and DVD format, contained Volumes 26-53 and spanned the Namek Saga. Boxed Set III was released in VHS format and revolved around the Frieza Saga. The VHS packaging featured a front cover image as well as side flap images and a compilation image, which is combined through the numerous volumes in each VHS set. In 2013, after a lengthy hiatus, an announcement unveiled that the first 53 episodes of the originally broadcast version would be released in one box set entitled Dragon Ball Z: Rock the Dragon Edition.
