Ninja Suit is a type of Gi primarily worn by Earthling Ninja.
Overview[]
Ninja Suits are commonly worn by Earthlings who practice the art of ninjutsu, such as Shu, the Murasaki Brothers, and Ninja Clan.
Usage[]
In Dr. Slump, as a gag the gynoid Arale Norimaki occasionally wears a Ninja Suit.
Shu is the first ninja to be seen wearing a Ninja Suit in the Emperor Pilaf Saga.
During the Red Ribbon Army Saga, the Murasaki Brothers all wear identical Ninja Suits to maintain the illusion that Ninja Murasaki's brothers are actually his clones.
During the Fortuneteller Baba Saga, Goku briefly wore a Ninja Suit after convincing Shu to give him his clothes, after Goku's Turtle School Uniform was destroyed by the Pilaf Gang's combined Pilaf Machine. Goku wears it as he returns to the Sacred Land of Korin to revive Upa's father Bora with the Dragon Balls. After catching his grandfather's Four-Star Dragon Ball, in the anime Goku continues to wear it as he trains for the 22nd World Martial Arts Tournament by exploring the Earth.
In the Dragon Ball: Adventure Special, one of Oolong and Puar's fellow students at Southern Transformation Kindergarten resemble Shu, though their Ninja Suit is black in color.
Variations[]
- Ninja Suit (Pilaf Gang) - A ninja suit worn by Shu. After defeating the Pilaf Gang during the Fortuneteller Baba Saga, Goku borrowed the one that Shu was wearing at the time, leaving him wearing only his ninja headgear. Shu eventually got a replacement as shown during the King Piccolo Saga. Additionally Future Shu also wears one and Future Goku wore Future Shu's after he defeated the Future Pilaf Gang in the past of the Alternate Timeline. In Battle of Gods, Resurrection ‘F’, and Dragon Ball Super, Shu wears a child sized version due to his age having been regressed by Shenron due to Pilaf's bungled wish to make the Pilaf Gang young again.
