"New Piccolo...Last Piccolo?" (新生ピッコロ決死の抵抗 Shinsei Pikkoro Kesshi no Teikō, lit. "The Reborn Piccolo's Desperate Resistance") is the one hundred seventy sixth chapter of Dragon Ball Z and the three hundred seventieth overall chapter of the Dragon Ball manga.

Summary[]
Piccolo attacks Cell, who blocks every hit and punches Piccolo in the face and kicks him far into the distance. Android 18 and Android 16 watch the battle unfold with Android 18 commenting that 17 and Piccolo must be holding back but 16 corrects her, saying that both of team have been using their full power but Cell is just stronger. He orders 18 to run away otherwise nobody will stand a chance against Cell if absorbs them. As 18 wonders what 16 is going to do himself, Piccolo prepares a unique attack, aligning his hands, making a sphere shape. Piccolo charges up the Energy Sphere in his palms and fires it at Cell who does not move a muscle while Android 17 jumps out of the away. 18 thinks Cell is destroyed however, Android 16 immediately states he's still alive and didn't that any damage. Cell slowly rises from the ocean while Tien Shinhan, who had just recently arrived, looks in awe over Cell's strength from a good distance away. Piccolo pleads to 17 to run away and is punched in the face by Cell. As Cell picks Piccolo off the ground, Tien notices that Piccolo's neck is broken. Cell, wondering to himself if he got carried away, blasting through Piccolo's stomach with a large beam and tosses him into the ocean.
Back on the Lookout, Gohan and Goku notice Piccolo's energy suddenly disappear. As Gohan screams in distraught for his old master, Goku becomes even more impatient, ordering that Vegeta hurry up. As Cell then turns his attention to 17, who states that he will not go down as easily, 18 wishes that she had listened to 16 earlier. 16 tells 18 to run once again, and informs her he will destroy Cell, shocking 18. 16 decides he must use his power now, even though his original plan was to only use this power against Goku.
