Xeno Trunks destroys the Wormhole and peace presumably returns to New Namek though it should be noted that the Big Gete Star's destruction likely qualified as a history correction thus the original Metal Cooler timeline would have been restored when Chronoa put the scrolls together thus the events of Return of Cooler would have taken place as they were supposed to with Cooler being killed by Goku and Vegeta destroying the Big Gete Star's control chip after New Namek had been freed from the Big Gete Star. As with most games, New Namek is represented in Xenoverse 2 by the Namek stage.

In Dragon Ball FighterZ, Android 16 and Android 21 of the resurgent Red Ribbon Army travel to New Namek in Age 779 to use the Namekian Dragon Balls (presumably Android 21 gained the ability to speak the Namekian Language or possessed some sort of universal translator) to summon Porunga. She than takes the revived villains to Earth were they are cloned and implanted with artificial souls to control the originals. However in the first and third arcs it is implied that they escape from her control only to be killed by either Android 21 or the Z Fighters, while in the Enemy Warrior Arc Frieza is linked with a human soul who convinces him and the other revived villains to join forces with the Z Fighters to combat Android 21 and her army of clones. Interestingly the fate of the Namekians is never revealed thus it is unknown if they were slaughtered (save for the Grand Elder as Moori's death would have rendered the Dragon Balls inert) or Android 16 was able to deceive them in allowing him and 21 to use the Dragon Balls, as 16 was secretly working against Android 21's evil persona which was in control of 21 at that time, thus he may have taken advantage of his gentle programming to deceive the Namekians to spare them from falling victim to Android 21's evil side. All that is known is that Grand Elder Moori was alive when the wishes were made as his death would have prevented the Namekian Dragon Balls from being used, though it is unknown if he was killed afterwards by 21 to prevent the Namekian Dragon Balls from being used against her as the Earth's Dragon Balls were currently unusable as they were in their period of dormancy. Presumably Dende and the Z Fighters would have used the Earth's Dragon Balls (once their dormant period was over) to revive them and all those killed during conflict with 21 and the clones or Moori's survival allowed him to revive his people once the Namekian Dragon Balls dormancy period was up (as 21 may not have cared or assumed her plans would be completed by the time the Namekian Dragon Balls could be used again, possibly even counting on it so she could feed on those Moori would have resurrected which is possible given how insatiable 21's hunger is).

New Namek (新ナメック星 Shin Namekku-sei)[1] is the new home of the Namekian race. It is similar to the original Namek, because of the green water, green sky and blue grass.

Biography

Outpost on New Namek

Following the destruction of the original Namek by Frieza, the revived Namekians were forced to spend an entire year on Earth inside the Capsule Corporation compound with Bulma and the Briefs. Eventually, King Kai discovered a planet with an atmosphere identical to that of Namek, and thus the Namekians were wished to that planet after bidding farewell to their friends from Earth.

New Namek is mentioned and seen in the Cell Games Saga, Dragon Ball Z: The Return of Cooler, Kid Buu Saga, Baby Saga, and Shadow Dragon Saga. During the Cell Games Saga, Goku travels to New Namek using Instant Transmission in order to find a replacement Guardian for Earth. Dende is selected, and happily accompanies Goku back to Earth.

RoC - BGS overload

The Big Gete Star on New Namek starts exploding from overload, around Age 767

In The Return of Cooler, Cooler attempts to use New Namek as fuel for the Big Gete Star. Goku and some of the other Z Fighters battle Cooler, his Cyclopian Guards, and his Meta-Coolers on New Namek.

Later in the series, Goku asks for the use of the Namekians' help to combat foes like Kid Buu, Baby, and Omega Shenron.

During the events of Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’, New Namek was also mentioned by Sorbet when he and his men mention that they were trying to find the planet in order to use the Namekian Dragon Balls to resurrect Frieza, but couldn't locate it even with the help of the spy robots. In disgust, he orders them to stop searching after failing to locate the planet so Sorbet and his aide, Tagoma decided to go to Earth instead. This inadvertently spared the Namekians of having their planet invaded by the surviving remnants of Frieza Force lead by Sorbet.

In Dragon Ball Super, during the God of Destruction Beerus Saga in the manga it is revealed that Sorbet sent his second in command Garana to lead the search team sent to find New Namek in order to secure the Namekian Dragon Balls to revive Frieza. In Age 778, Garana and his team located a mysterious planet-sized Dragon Ball only to run into Beerus' twin brother Champa the God of Destruction of Universe 6 and his Angel attendant Vados. Seeking the Dragon Ball that Garana and his team had found Champa destroyed them and their ship with a finger beam. As a result, Sorbet was forced to end the search for New Namek and resolved to use the Earth's Dragon Balls instead by taking advantage of the Pilaf Gang. Thus thanks to Champa's search for the Super Dragon Balls, New Namek was spared from potentially being discovered by the Frieza Force. The Frieza Force's efforts to find New Namek in the manga explain why the Namekians did not simply wish the old Planet Namek back as the Frieza Force would have known its location and could have expected the Namekians to use the Dragon Balls power to restore it. Presumably King Kai assisted the Namekians in finding New Namek to keep the Namekian Dragon Balls out of the Frieza Force's hands to prevent the revival of Frieza, King Cold, and/or Cooler as well as allow the Namekians to live in peace.

Later Old Kai and Kibito Kai retrieve the Namekians' Dragon Balls as they thought Champa was after them as they failed to realize he sought the Super Dragon Balls, from which the original set of Namekian Dragon Balls were forged from by the Dragon Clan in Namek's distant past. Kibito Kai uses the Namekian Dragon Balls to reverse the Potara Fusion of the Shin and Kibito.

In Future Trunks' timeline during the "Future" Trunks Saga, New Namek is erased by Future Zeno along with the rest of the future multiverse. However a new future timeline is created (by Whis in the anime, while it is created by Future Trunks & Future Mai with Beerus' approval in the manga) where the Project Zero Mortals conflict was prevented

Thanks to the effects of Piccolo and the rest of Team Universe 7, New Namek and the rest of Universe 7 avoid being erased during the Tournament of Power with Android 17 using the Super Dragon Balls to bring back the erased Universes. However Frieza is revived under Beerus' orders as payment for his role in Team Universe 7's victory, though fortunately he and the resurgent Frieza Force where once again focused on Earth and fulfilling Frieza's desire for revenge on Goku and his friends, thus New Namek avoided a repeat of the Battle on Planet Namek.

Video Game Appearances

In Dragon Ball Z: The Legacy of Goku II, right before the Cell Games, the Z Fighters accompany missing Namekians back to New Namek. They get Grandpa Gohan's key from one of those Namekians who found it in the woods near Goku's house. In a cave there, the Z Fighters confront and defeat Cooler in his fifth form.

New Namek appears briefly in the Story Mode of Dragon Ball Z: Supersonic Warriors 2 and Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai - Another Road. In the latter, Future Babidi goes off to New Namek to use the Namekian Dragon Balls to place Buu under his control. Future Cooler and Future Broly join forces and help Future Babidi. The Z Fighters fight with them on New Namek, and later bring Future Dende to Earth to become the new Guardian have Dragon Balls on Earth again.

According to Dragon Ball Online, Mira attacks New Namek in Age 851 and eventually destroys it in Age 853 with a Spirit Bomb. Thus, the Namekians lead by Grand Elder Moori are forced to relocate to Earth, where they remain.

In Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Towa uses a Wormhole to connect Earth in Age 767 of the main timeline to New Namek in Metal Cooler's timeline causing Metal Coolers that had been invaded New Namek to appear at the Cell Games. Chronoa orders Trunks: Xeno to travel to New Namek to deal with the source of the Metal Cooler's the Big Gete Star on New Namek while the 2nd Future Warrior deals with the Metal Coolers that have come through the wormhole before using the Wormhole to travel to New Namek to aid Trunks: Xeno and prevent more Metal Cooler's from traveling through.
