Nail turns around and blasts the opponent with a massive yellow energy wave, inflicting a great amount of damage.
Nail uses this attack during his battle against Frieza in a bid to stall him for Dende to deliver the Namekian Dragon Balls password to Gohan and Krillin. Nail has his back turned to Frieza and has a short conversation with him in order to drop his guard. Nail then turns around and blasts Frieza with the Mystic Flasher, but unfortunately, the blast has little effect.
Video Game Appearances
Mystic Flasher was named in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3, where it appears as Nail's Ultimate Blast, also accompanied with a rush: Nail first knees his opponent into the air, then he punches his opponent three times in the face, followed by a Double Axe Handle, then the opponent crashes down to the ground, quickly followed by Nail's devastating beam. The attack is named Mystic Crasher (ミスティッククラッシャー) in Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 and Assault Flash (アサルトフラッシュ) in Dragon Ball Heroes. The attack returns in Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi, despite Nail not being in the game; the attack can be used as an ultimate attack for the Heavy build Saiyan Hero.
In Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 it appears under the name Mystic Flash and is one of Nail's Ultimate Skills, though it is only the turn-around blast, leaving it to be a tricky Ultimate Skill to land, however it is perfect for dealing with enemy attacks from the rear. It can be obtained by the Future Warrior as a reward in Parallel Quest 20: "Frieza! Show Yourself!!". After the 1.09.00 Update, it can be added to Piccolo's custom skillset after purchasing it in Partner Customization. Presumably Piccolo inherited it through his fusion with Nail as he can also unlock Nail's Do or Die skill through customization as well.
