The first Mr. Popo model was produced as a miniature collectible by French company AB Groupe in 1996 (dated 1989). The figurines were packaged six in a set and stood at a very small size, at about 2 inches in height. The packaging read as Dragon Ball Z “Super Guerriers” and this specific set was Coffret Number 9 (Series 9). Mr. Popo stands holding one hand behind his back and the other is in an open position and reaching downward as both his feet are kept in unison. This figurine was re-released in the Irwin Toy line quite a few years later. Others included in this set were Turles, Gohan, Frieza in his second form, Tapion, and one of Gotenks' Super Kamikaze Ghosts.

In the late 80's, a series of miniature quarter-priced rubber machine toys was released, much like the Ultimate Muscle series and coming in randomized colors. They are known as Dorakeshi Keshi-Gomu and are rather hard to come by. All characters in this set came in a random color and all of them were very tiny and immobile. Mr. Popo appears once in this miniature set, with one arm behind his back and the other in a welcoming gesture. The mini rubber figurine is available in numerous colors, red and yellow being the most common for this specific model. This miniature Part 1 Keshi set has included a few of the characters from the Vegeta Saga (also known as the Saiyan Saga) and some characters from the Piccolo Jr. Saga. Popo is included in the part 1 set. One of Bandai's Keshi series, it has included characters such as Raditz, Ox-King, Chi-Chi, Yajirobe, Mr. Popo, Bulma, Piccolo, Kami, Gohan, Goku, Chiaotzu, Tien, Yamcha, Krillin, and Hero for a total of 15 pieces in the part 1 set.

The Mini Figure Selection series Part 2 was released in September 2003 and has included a repertoire of characters from the Dragon Ball series in a nice bronze color highlight. Included in this set is a miniature Mr. Popo, who is seen standing with both hands behind his back beside a tropical tree. This miniature figurine is well-crafted and has a distinct bronze coloring scheme, matching the rest of the Mini Figure Selection series set.

The Chara Puchi releases by Bandai were not limited to the phone strap series. In February 2004, the second set of Chara Puchi figurines was released and incorporated plenty of characters from the Dragon Ball series run. In this set, all the characters came sitting on top of a mini Dragon Ball. Popo came sitting on a Dragon Ball and with a miniature base, maintaining both his hands behind his back. Others included in this set and also sitting on Dragon Balls are the Jackie Chun, Launch, Puar, Bulma, Goku, Grandpa Gohan, Upa, Tien, and Chiaotzu. Also, the initial releases of these mini-figurines came with a small piece of candy.

Soul of Hyper Figuration Part 8 Mr. Popo color version figure

Released in December, 2006, this figure is modeled very similar to the other Soul of Hyper Figuration series releases. The Part 8 set includes Mr. Popo, depicted holding the dragon model encased in a protective glass with a joyous expression on his face. Also, his other hand is kept behind his back and he stands atop an oval base with his name inscribed in Japanese. He is shaded with a unique tone, much as the rest of the body’s shading around the angles and bends. The coloring is very smooth and on the mark in terms of precision and style. This is an overall very well-done model. Other pieces included in this same Part 8 set are Kami, Piccolo, Janemba, Super Saiyan 3 Goku, Super Buu (Gotenks absorbed), Gogeta, Goku with angelic wings, and Super Saiyan Gotenks with his Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack pieces.

Soul of Hyper Figuration Part 8 Mr. Popo black and white variant figure

Released in December, 2006, this figure is modeled very similar to the prior Soul of Hyper Figuration series. Also in the Part 8 set, Mr. Popo is depicted holding the dragon model encased in a protective glass with a joyous expression on his face. Here, the shading has even more impression due to being a monotone black and white variant. The shading scheme is very smooth and on the mark in terms of precision and style. This, like its colored version, is an overall very well-done model.

HG Collection Part 14 Mr. Popo and Dende figurines

Part 14 of the HG series includes Dende alongside Mr. Popo. Dende is portrayed in the position he takes as he attempts to summon Porunga. Popo is portrayed with his hands being held behind his back and a smile across his face. The figurine was first released in July 2007 and is packaged in a plastic bag along with Dende due to the figurines being slightly smaller in scale and height. Also included is an insert paper to showcase other figurines pertaining to the set. The figurine is one of the first highly detailed releases to portray Mr. Popo and is the first HG Collection piece of the character. Other pieces included in this same HG Collection Part 14 set are Zarbon in his monster form, Super Saiyan Future Trunks, Frieza in his final form, Perfect Cell, and Super Saiyan Goku and Super Saiyan teen Gohan preparing a final Kamehameha.

Bandai has also released a Super “Deformation” series in 2008 with the figurines standing at about 5 cm. The Mr. Popo in this set comes with his hands raised midway and his palms spread open as he maintains a surprised expression. This is a unique piece for the character due to Popo's facial reaction. The black round base of the figure reads the character’s name and allows for the mini figurine to stand on top of it. Other pieces included in this same Freeza Edition Deformation set are Zarbon, Dodoria, Frieza in his first form, Frieza in his final form, Dende, Bardock, Porunga, Vegeta, and Super Saiyan Goku.

Now corresponding with the color set is the transparent models, which allows for two versions of the same set to be collected. Mr. Popo’s transparent figure is one of the most unique of the set as he is the only one to have a black transparent figurine. Mr. Popo comes atop the 2-star Dragon Ball and is seen with his hands raised in front and his feet sticking outward as well. He is seen with a smile on his face.

Banpresto has released a Mr. Popo plush in the 2007 plush set for Dragon Ball characters. This specific plush of Popo stands at 6 inches high. A noticeable unique difference for this Popo plush is the style used for Popo's lips. Rather than have the red outline as forthcoming versions, this one has a white and black lining for his lips, having a more simplistic appearance. Also, Popo's turban-like headpiece is missing the blue jewel in the middle. Aside from this, it's still a nice plush in terms of design.

This 9 inch (22 cm) Sofubi Vinyl Mr. Popo was released by Banpresto in February, 2008. It is Mr. Popo's largest model and most distinctive piece in terms of design. He is depicted with a calm and blank expression and maintains both hands behind his back. It is part of the DX Vinyl Series 3 set. Others included in this same set are Chiaotzu and Kid Goku. The DX Vinyl set is likely the best large-scale series attributed to Dragon Ball characters. The packaging depicts the Dragon Balls scattered around.

The same 9 inch Mr. Popo from Series 3 of the DX Vinyl set was re-released as a part of the DX Vinyl Special Series 2 set. The packaging is slightly different and the figure model remains the same aside from some very minor paint job touch-ups. The difference is the coloring scheme being slightly brighter and having a shiny glow. Otherwise, Mr. Popo remains the same mold. This variant of the DX Popo piece was released in September, 2008. The packaging depicts Shenron swirling in the background. Others included in this same DX Vinyl Special Series 2 set are Kid Goku, Chiaotzu, and Korin.

This HoiPoi Capsule Keychain series is a nice addition offered by Banpresto. Included in the miniature oval-shaped hoipoi capsules are Mr. Popo, Goku, Piccolo, Yajirobe, King Kai, and Bulma. The set makes for nice keychains or phone straps but also has an additional feature. The capsules themselves can be opened and the mini figurine can be taken out. Popo is seen waving one hand and maintaining his other hand behind his back.

Following the first initial Banpresto DWC sets, a Volume 7 series release in June, 2010 introduced Mr. Popo in the lineup. This set included Popo standing with one hand kept behind him and his other hand raised upward as he waves hello. The figurine stands at approximately 6 cm and like the rest of the figurines, comes packaged in mini-boxes and displays the featured character in front of the box and others in the same set on the side panel of the box. The figurine is listed as collectible number DBZKai053 and is from the Kai series vol. 7. The piece also comes with a small blue base to stand on. Others included in this same set are Kami, Porunga, Shenron, Great Ape Vegeta, Broly, Super Saiyan Broly, and Hirudegarn.

MegaHouse has released a slew of Gashapon figures in a diorama series entitled Capsule Neo incorporating scenes from the Dragon Ball universe. This is the Part 8 set in the series, which was released in October 2005 and entitled “Adventures”. There's a Kami figurine included in the background as Mr. Popo and Goku are seen placing the pieces of the Shenron model together. Kami is portrayed in the horizon in this scene, holding his staff and keeping his other hand behind his back. The figure, much like most in this set, came with another character to display the scene as a diorama. Mr. Popo is seen carefully piecing together the remnants of the Dragon in order to rebuild it and construct it accurately. The basic set was released within Dragon Balls and the Gashapons included two figurines, which would be attached to a ground base and showcase a scene from the series. Other pieces included in this set are Krillin versus Piccolo, Chi-Chi running from a dinosaur, Master Roshi with a mermaid, Hero versus Yamcha, Goku versus Piccolo, and Goku lowering his tail into the water to catch a large fish.

This series, much like the following ones, was also released as a gold base, with all figures coming as gold versions rather than colored ones. Other pieces included in this set are Krillin versus Piccolo, Chi-Chi running from a dinosaur, Master Roshi with a mermaid, Hero versus Yamcha, Goku versus Piccolo, and Goku lowering his tail into the water to catch a large fish. When all figures are collected, they each bring together a piece that constructs a secret diorama set, which in this case portrays Goku and Chi-Chi on their wedding day riding in their car.

Italian manufacturer DeAgostini has released a 5-inch set comprising of approximately 60 pieces, specifically limiting this slew of additions to Dragon Ball GT characters. Mr. Popo (who stood at about 4 inches) was included in this set due to his appearance in GT. The figurines are immobile with miniature white bases to stand on. Popo comes standing with a peaceful expression and both hands behind his back.

Irwin Toy pretty much re-released all the previous 2 inch Super Guerriers figurines. Mr. Popo was no exclusion as when series 9 was released, he was included with the others from the previous lineup. The mini-figure remains the same aside from the basic packaging layout being larger by the bubble and cardboard size. However, the contents remain the same and the figures remain unaltered. This series is considered the miniature releases that went along with Irwin’s basic 5 inch lineup.

The mini-figure remains the same aside from the basic packaging layout being different with blue boxart rather than orange and yellow from the previous "Saga Continues" set.

The same miniature Mr. Popo from Keshi part 1 of the DBZ series was re-released in a mini bagging alongside Kami, Bulma, and Gohan from the same set. All the figurines in this bagging come in a gray or navy blue monochrome color variation. The figurines remain the same as the previously released Part 1 Keshi set but have a new tag attached to the bagging.

Hachette has added a great deal of pieces to their appending “Legend of Manga” releases. Included with the manga volumes is a miniature figurine. Included with Number 39 of this wide range of volumes is none other than Mister Popo. Released in November, 2009, this piece was no exception to the great deal of detail Hachette has placed on the Dragon Ball manga characters. Popo is depicted in a stoic yet sincere posture, placing a blank expression across his face and portrays him in the manner which he first appeared when he attempted to train Goku in the ways of sensing life force and ki around him, maintaining a calm yet dangerous persona.

Released in May, 2000, the Crazy Bones addition to the Dragon Ball franchise has brought a nice repertoire of characters in this miniature format. GoGo's Crazy Bones (also referred to as Crazy Bones or GoGo's) are small collectibles that became popular during the 1990s and 2000s, produced by Spanish company Magic Box Int. and additionally by PPI Worldwide Group, which remains the only distributor in North America. They are named crazy bones due to the craze revolving around the collection of these pieces. The Dragon Ball Z set spans the Saiyan/Vegeta saga debacle as well as the Namek Saga conflict and has 40 pieces in the set. Each figurine comes in a multitude of colors and designs but remains the same sculpt. Popo is included in this set as a full-body piece and is number 38 of this set.

All four major sagas in the series have been released in this format, including the Vegeta Saga, Frieza Saga, Cell Saga, and Majin Buu Saga. Mr. Popo appears twice in this mini-wrapped set. This version comes in a basic stance with both arms kept to his sides and his feet in unison. There is a wide variety of characters included in this mini set. The miniature figurines are produced in numerous colors and in the case of this specific Popo piece, he is available in silver.

This is Popo's second figurine variant and he is seen with one arm behind his back and the other stretched outward. There is a wide variety of characters included in this mini set. Amongst the various “Legend is Here” releases was an alternate miniature-sized 1.5 inch version of the Mr. Popo miniature figurine. This figurine holds the same posture as the previous AB Groupe and upcoming Irwin Toy releases. The figurine size is much smaller than the original release. This is another of the versions of Mr. Popo produced by KidzBiz as reissues of the previous Super Guerriers lineups. Like the other miniatures, this one also portrays Mr. Popo in the same position.
