"NOW THE REAL FIGHT BEGINS!!!"
Goku before landing the Miracle Blow on Broly in Dragon Ball Z: Broly - The Legendary Super Saiyan

Miracle Blow[5] is a technique used by Goku in his Super Saiyan form in Dragon Ball Z: Broly - The Legendary Super Saiyan.

Overview[]

With all of his power, combined with energy accumulated from others, Goku charges destructive force into his fist and delivers a decisive punch to his enemy.

Usage[]

"Broly: You've lasted longer than I expected, but your final hour has arrived.
[...]
Goku: YOUR hour has arrived!
"
Goku's retort to Broly in Dragon Ball Z: Broly - The Legendary Super Saiyan

In Dragon Ball Z: Broly - The Legendary Super Saiyan, Goku uses the attack at the end of his fight with Legendary Super Saiyan Broly. On the brink of defeat, Goku gains energy from Piccolo, Gohan, Future Trunks, and finally Vegeta, restoring him to full power and beyond, allowing him to challenge Broly with the Miracle Blow. The attack blasts into Broly's abdomen, launching the Legendary Super Saiyan into the path of Comet Camori and causing his body to crack and his energy to explode outwards, wounding him to such an extent that he fell into a seven-year coma after crash-landing on Earth.

Similar Techniques[]

In Dragon Ball Z: Bardock - The Father of Goku, Cranbo uses a very similar technique on his comrade unintentionally. While landing multiple heavy blows on Bardock, who is held in a Full-Nelson by Cranbo's comrade, Cranbo prepares a powerful one aimed at Bardock's gut. However, Bardock counters by flipping in midair, causing Cranbo to punch straight through his comrade's armor and into his back. They were then finished off by Bardock's Flip Shoot.

Dragon Fist of Rage

Super Saiyan 4 Goku pierces Eis Shenron's abdomen with a punch

In Dragon Ball GT, Super Saiyan 4 Goku uses a similar attack to seriously injure Eis Shenron before destroying him with his Dragon Fist of Rage, because the Shadow Dragon used an extremely cowardly blinding strike against him.

Video Game Appearances[]

In FighterZ, as part of the Broly Pack DLC, Miracle Blow makes a cameo appearance as part of a Dramatic Finish. If Super Saiyan Goku KO's Broly as the final opponent on the Space stage with a Neutral Heavy Attack, then a reenactment of the climax of Broly - The Legendary Super Saiyan will occur where Super Saiyan Goku defeats Broly with Miracle Blow. After knocking Broly back Goku stands glaring at Broly who starts to sweat and shows a brief tinge of fear before angrily charging at Goku who charges at Broly as well. Broly lands a punch, but it just grazes Goku's cheek who hits him with Miracle Blow causing Broly to shout "Impossible!" as he explodes like in the film. The only difference visually is Goku's gi is not torn off.

In Dragon Ball Heroes, it is named Legend Smash (レジェンドスマッシュ Rejendo Sumasshu) and was added as a Super Attack for Super Saiyan Goku in Big Bang Mission 7.

In Dragon Ball Legends, it is named Ultimate Fist and acts as BLU Super Saiyan Goku (DBL04-10S)'s Special Arts.

In Xenoverse 2, as part of the FUTURE SAGA Chapter 1 DLC, the Future Warrior uses the attack in a cutscene on Legendary Super Saiyan Ultra Supervillain Broly after being given energy by Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, Krillin, Yamcha, Gohan, Tien, and Future Trunks.

In Dokkan Battle, Fierce Clash of Burning Power Super Saiyan Goku uses it as his Finish Skill. The semi-charged version is named Punch of Bonds, while the fully charged Miracle Blow is named Miraculous Punch.
