Michael D. McConnohie (born in Mansfield, Ohio) is a voice actor for movies, anime, and video games. He had previously worked on the Harmony Gold dub of Dragon Ball under the name Jeffrey Platt, voicing Mercenary Tao (General Tao Pei), Emperor Pilaf (Oculi (in the TV series only)), and Bongo (Major Domo) as well as the show's narrator. He returned to Dragon Ball three decades later as King Kai and King Vegeta for the Bang Zoom! dub of Dragon Ball Super.
