Majin Kuu (魔人クウ Majin Kū, lit. "Demon Person Kū"), later known as King Kuu (キング・クウ Kingu Kū), is a Majin created by Marba using a Saibaman seed infused with the essence of Majin Buu and other factors. He becomes Supreme Demon King after the defeat of Gomah.
He is a major character of the Daima Saga.
Appearance[]

Marba created Majin Kuu using many materials, key among them a fragment of Innocent Buu and a Saibaman seed, so Kuu resembles both species. He has the general physique, pants and Majin belt of Kid Buu but with a Saibaman's body color and divided head (albeit smooth), pointy ears as well as lines running underneath his eyes that connect under his chin, framing his face, with the skin of his face appearing a light shade of purple, like Hit and Golden Frieza. His torso, abdomen, and forearms are covered by a Bio Suit.
After taking on the role of Supreme Demon King, Kuu is gifted a white spiked cape like Dabura's.
Personality[]
Unlike Majin Buu, Majin Kuu is perfectly obedient to his creators, as he smiles and willingly agrees to Dr. Arinsu's command to fight Tamagami Number One almost immediately after being created. This is because of his genetic template being that of a Saibaman, who were also known to be extremely loyal to their users and also because Arinsu lent some of her genetic code (via saliva) to create a more natural bond with the Majin.
Majin Kuu is aware he is outmatched
Like Innocent Buu before him, Majin Kuu has a rather eccentric personality, exemplified by his constant posing during combat. However, he is conscious of his own limitations, as he readily surrenders to Tamagami Number One after being soundly overpowered. He is also extremely devoted to Dr. Arinsu, pleading for her to keep him around and citing his various skills after she tries to fire him. In addition, he is eager for companionship, immediately becoming excited when Dr. Arinsu decides to make another Majin who would be the equivalent of his brother. Once Majin Duu is born, Kuu is supportive of his little brother, rushing to purchase chocolate when Duu asks for some. He also cheers during Duu's battle with Tamagami Number One.
Overall, Kuu is fairly intelligent and an excellent judge of character, as well as being aware of any of his potential failings. Upon being crowned as Supreme Demon King, he immediately recruited all the capable people around him by listing all the positive characteristics they had that made them suitable to be his main helpers. His rationale and genuinely good intentions earned him instant praise from the Demon population.

Background[]
Knowing of Majin Buu's revival, Dr. Arinsu followed Babidi and the Supreme Demon King Dabura to Earth in Universe 7. After Vegeta's failed self-destructing sacrifice to destroy Majin Buu, Dr. Arinsu claimed a fragment of Majin Buu before he could reform. Sometime later, Dr. Arinsu gave the fragment to Marba, Majin Buu's true creator, to create another Majin for her to help her become the new Supreme Demon King. Marba would then begin the process of creating a new Majin.[1]

Majin Kuu speaks
Marba combines the essence of various monsters in her cauldron in order to make a new Majin, but with the addition of Buu's essence, she is confident that her next creation should be a success. In order to ensure the Majin is subservient to Dr. Arinsu, Marba instructs her to add a drop of her saliva to the mixture inside the cauldron, turning it green.[1] Eventually, the mixture solidifies into a soil-like form. Marba instructs Arinsu to plant a Saibaman seed about five centimeters down into the soil, which should increase the amount of Buu's essence but runs the risk of making the resulting Majin uncontrollable. After watering the newly planted seed, the mixture explodes into a stalk-shaped form out of the cauldron, before shedding itself to reveal the newly awakened Majin Kuu underneath. For his first task, Arinsu commands Kuu to defeat Tamagami Number One and retrieve his Dragon Ball. Kuu remains standing for a few seconds before drawing a smirk and complying to Arinsu's command with a formal "understood".[2]
Majin Kuu is overpowered by Tamagami Number One
Arinsu and Kuu travel to the resting place of Tamagami Number One, where Kuu brazenly challenges it to battle. However, the difference between Kuu and Number One begins to become painfully clear, as all of Kuu's attacks fail to even leave a scratch on Number One, who tosses him around like a rag doll. Recognizing his inferiority, Kuu forfeits, much to the disappointment of Arinsu, who declares he is fired as they leave before the Gendarmerie arrive. Kuu pleads to keep working for Arinsu, citing his speed, supposedly good singing voice, and offers to do her shopping.[3] Kuu later accompanies Arinsu back to Marba's to help create the next Majin. The result is what Kuu considers to be his brother, Majin Duu, who quickly demands chocolate upon awakening. With his speed, Kuu buys chocolate for himself and Duu and the two become fast friends, though Kuu gets upset when Duu eats his chocolate.
Majin Kuu meets the Gendarmerie Force
With the advent of his stronger Majin brother, Kuu returns to Tamagami Number One's resting place with Duu and Arinsu, spectating the match between Duu and the guardian by cheering Duu on.[4] Both he and Arinsu are surprised when Duu stops fighting mid-match to demand chocolate, but Kuu quickly buys more chocolate to give to Duu, allowing the latter to ultimately defeat Number One. Following this, Tamagami Number One offers one last challenge to Majin Duu in the form of mental arithmetic, displaying a series of numbers in rapid succession and asking what they add up to. Kuu is able to add the series of numbers up with ease, whispering the answer to Duu who then claims the Dragon Ball.[5] Later, he and Duu accompany Dr. Arinsu to her room and crash on her couch while she waits for the Dragon Team to arrive in the First Demon World. While they wait for further orders, Kuu and Duu visit a convenience store to buy snacks and encounter the Gendarmerie Force, who end up buying them chocolate.[6]

Kuu and Duu accompany Dr. Arinsu when she goes to confront Goku and the Dragon Team. Despite Shin's attempt to have Arinsu stand down, she is determined to have her wish granted, and proposes each group send representatives to fight one-on-one for the Dragon Balls. Kuu is eager to fight while Duu chases a butterfly with a stick, but Arinsu opts to start with Duu due to his superior strength, so Duu and Goku begin fighting first. However, when Gomah arrives with the Evil Third Eye, everyone teams up to battle him.[7]
Kuu hits Gomah with the Book of Magic Items
Kuu proves to be unable to match Gomah and sits most of the fight out.[8] During the battle, Arinsu suddenly has an idea and orders Kuu to go and receive the Book of Magic Items which lists information of the Evil Third Eye. Using his incredible analytical speed, Kuu speeds through the book to find the appropriate page where Arinsu learns that by striking Gomah at the back of the head three times, the eye will dislodge.[9] In the end, it is Kuu holding the book who hits Gomah in the back of the head three times in rapid succession, returning him back to normal and putting an end to the action.
Majin Kuu becomes the new Supreme Demon King
After Gomah is sealed away, a discussion begins on who should be his successor. Shin asks Arinsu if she wants to be the Queen, but she declines, so Neva explains that "whoever defeats the Demon King, must take his place", which means Majin Kuu who happily accepts the position, donning the familiar white cape. His first action is to appoint Arinsu as his Vice Supreme King, he then chooses Majin Duu, Neva, Marba, Glorio and Kadan as ministers, making note of each of their skills and abilities.[10]

Majin Kuu is at least supposedly stronger than Dr. Arinsu, as she mentioned her and Marba's previous Majin concoctions could not even surpass her in power. Despite knowing his limits, he is very confident in his abilities, especially his analytical speed.
During his debut battle against Tamagami Number One, despite his strength and eccentric fighting style, Majin Kuu is at a noticeable disadvantage against the guardian, unable to damage him even with a point-blank Mouth Energy Wave.
Techniques and Special Abilities[]
- Enhanced Cognitive Thinking - Kuu is also extremely perceptive and skilled in mental arithmetic, managing to calculate a very advanced addition problem with limited time to see and calculate, something even the genius Dr. Arinsu couldn't. He is also able to speed-read through a massive book to find a specific page of information for Dr. Arinsu despite having only minimal knowledge of the subject she was searching for.
- Flight – The user manipulates their ki energy or magic so that they can levitate or fly.
- Enjoy Browning - The user fires green energy spheres from both hands at their opponent.
- Crescent Energy Wave - Majin Kuu raises both of his hands an creates a massive ball of green energy, then launches it to the sky. The blast locks onto an opponent and flies into them, dealing heavy damage.
- Wild Rush - Kuu attacks his opponent with a barrage of punches and jumps into the air to fire a Mouth Energy Wave at them.
- Majin Corkscrew Attack - By rotating his body at high speeds, Majin Kuu creates a green cyclone of ki and barrels at the opponent.
- Full Power Energy Wave - The user starts by charging an Energy Sphere in their hand(s). Then, they draw their hand(s) forward and fire the energy sphere in the form of an energy wave at the opponent, inflicting a great amount of damage.
