"A Kamehameha used by those of the Demon Clan. Unleash a Ki Wave that can be charged up to 3 stages!"
Dragon Ball Xenoverse in-game description

Majin Kamehameha (魔人かめはめ波 Majin Kamehameha, lit. "Demon People's Kamehame Wave") is a variation of the Kamehameha used by Innocent Buu.

Like all the other variants, performing the Majin Kamehameha is no different. The only difference is the coloration compared to the other Kamehameha variations. The power of the Majin Kamehameha is the same as or even greater than the Super Kamehameha.

Usage and Power

This technique was first used by Majin Buu in his fight with Super Saiyan 3 Goku. After watching Goku use his Super Kamehameha, Buu decided to imitate it and fired the Majin Kamehameha at Goku, who deflected it back towards him. Buu then imitated Goku again by deflecting the blast himself.

In the manga, when the Super Spirit Bomb is thrown at him, Kid Buu utilizes the Majin Kamehameha in an attempt to stop it, however this proves ineffective.

Good Buu charges a Majin Kamehameha against Basil

This attack was also used in the Dragon Ball Super anime during Buu's fight with Basil. Despite Basil's power up, he was still no match for the angry Buu, and Buu finished the fight by using an orange-colored Majin Kamehameha that caused Basil to collapse after a full force hit.

Video Game Appearances

The Majin Kamehameha made its first appearance in the Budokai Tenkaichi series, referred to as only Super Kamehameha.

In Dragon Ball Online, it appears under the name Imitation Kamehameha and is exclusive to the Wonder Majin skill tree.

It was eventually named in Dragon Ball Xenoverse and is a Super Skill exclusive to members of the Majin race, such as its inventor Innocent Buu and a Majin Future Warrior. In the GT Pack 2, Mira can also use the technique as well due to his infusion of DNA from warriors such as Innocent Buu.

In Dragon Ball Fusions, it appears as a Special Move that can be used by Mira and Nox. Mira can learn it after reaching Level 90 and Nox can learn it after reaching Level 99.

Majin Kamehameha in Xenoverse 2

It returns in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 as a Super Skill which can be learned by the Majin Future Warrior. It can be obtained in Parallel Quest 60: "Blast the Super Spirit Bomb!". It can also be used by Majin Buu and Mira. As part of the Ultra Pack 2 DLC, Android 21 can use the Majin Kamehameha as one of her Super Attacks though ironically she uses it in her normal human form. Like Mira, Android 21 is capable of using it due to possessing Majin Buu's cells. During the Raid Quest: "Time Patroller Takedown", the Majin Time Patroller Taino may appear as a Raid Boss and among her Super Skills, she can utilize Majin Kamehameha, much like her ancestor Mr. Buu.

It again returns in Dragon Ball FighterZ, under the name Kamehameha. It is used by Kid Buu and Clone Buus. Android 21 and her fissions can utilize it via performing her forward Connoisseur Cut on Goku (Base/Kaio-ken), Goku (Super Saiyan), Goku (SSGSS), Krillin, Gohan (Teen), Gohan (Adult), Yamcha, Tien, Goku Black, Videl, or Goku (GT).

In Dragon Ball Legends, Android 21 (Good) can utilize the Majin Kamehameha as her Special Move Arts though again under the name Kamehameha.
