Like all the other variants, performing the Majin Kamehameha is no different. The only difference is the coloration compared to the other Kamehameha variations. The power of the Majin Kamehameha is the same as or even greater than the Super Kamehameha.
Usage and Power
This technique was first used by Majin Buu in his fight with Super Saiyan 3 Goku. After watching Goku use his Super Kamehameha, Buu decided to imitate it and fired the Majin Kamehameha at Goku, who deflected it back towards him. Buu then imitated Goku again by deflecting the blast himself.
This attack was also used in Dragon Ball Super during Buu's fight with Basil. Despite Basil's power up, he was still no match for the angry Buu, and Buu finished the fight by using an orange-colored Majin Kamehameha that caused Basil to collapse after a full force hit.
Video Game Appearances
The Majin Kamehameha made its first appearance in the Budokai Tenkaichi series, referred to as only Super Kamehameha.
It was eventually named in Dragon Ball Xenoverse and is a Super Skill exclusive to members of the Majin race, such as its inventor Innocent Buu and a Majin Future Warrior. In the GT Pack 2, Mira can also use the technique as well due to his infusion of DNA from warriors such as Innocent Buu.
In Dragon Ball Fusions, it appears as a Special Move that can be used by Mira and Nox. Mira can learn it after reaching Level 90 and Nox can learn it after reaching Level 99.
It returns in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 as a Super Skill which can be learned by the Majin Future Warrior. It can be obtained in Parallel Quest 60: "Blast the Super Spirit Bomb!". It can also be used by Majin Buu, Mira, and Android 21.
It again returns in Dragon Ball FighterZ, under the name Kamehameha. It is used by Goku, Goku (Super Saiyan), Goku (SSGSS), Krillin, Yamcha, Gohan (both Adult and Teen variations), Kid Buu, and Android 21.
