Magic Touch (人参化 Ninjinka, lit. "Carrot Transformer") is a technique used by Monster Carrot to transform people into carrots.

Overview[]

Monster Carrot accomplishes this simply by touching his victim, which can be reversed by clapping his hands together.

Usage[]

He uses his Magic Touch on Bulma at a remote village in the Diablo Desert. Goku eventually forces Monster Carrot to reverse the spell, and Monster Carrot does so by clapping his hands.

Magic Touch in Dokkan Battle

In Attack of the Saiyans, a capsule-item called Carrot Glove is obtained after defeating Monster Carrot; this item has the ability to turn all enemies into carrots after they are defeated. The carrots can then be exchanged with a man in West City for other items.

In Dokkan Battle, it appears as Monster Carrot's special attack.

"I didn't know there were so many bad guys on Earth... One guy was able to turn people into carrots just by touching them... So be careful!"
Percel in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2

In Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Percel mentions to the Future Warrior about Monster Carrot's frightening ability while they are investigating the Satan House Time Rift anomaly as an example of why Time Patroller's should be careful when investigating on Earth as though they may be weak compared to other villains, Earthlings like Monster Carrot can still be dangerous due to the unique abilities they possess.

Trivia[]

  • Humorously in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, there is a carrot farmer in Olive Village who after giving any one of the Z Fighters that speak to him a High-Quality Carrot, will reveal he wishes he was a carrot, alluding to the possibility he would be interested in having such a technique used upon himself.
  • Theoretically, a Transfiguration Beam user could utilize said ability to mimic the effects of Magic Touch, as the various incarnations of Majin Buu can turn people into anything he desires from food, drinks, to even building building materials like clay, thus turning someone into a carrot would be entirely possible (though unlikely as most Majins tends to prefer sweets).
    • Similarly, a Shapeshifter could theoretically utilize Shapeshifting to turn themselves into a carrot, though it is unclear if this would allow them to counter being turned into a Carrot by Magic Touch, as neither Oolong nor Puar fell victim to the technique.
