Madman Entertainment is the leading distributor of anime in Australia and New Zealand. They released Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, and Dragon Ball GT on DVD.
Its anime distribution arm, Madman Anime was acquired by Sony Pictures in 2019 and now owned by Crunchyroll as Crunchyroll Store Australia.

Madman was founded in 1996 to distribute anime in Australia. Its main office is in Richmond, Victoria. They were the first company to release Funimation's uncut dub of Dragon Ball. The original releases were rated PG but in later prints it was bumped up to an M due to the subtitled Japanese audio track containing coarse language and sexual references.
