"Fire countless sharp, deadly Ki Blasts over a wide range!"
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Skill description

Lightning Shower Rain (ライトニングシャワーレイン Raitoningu Shawā Rein) is a technique used by Janemba in his super form.

Overview

Super Janemba traces his finger in the air and creates a streak of green energy light that breaks into sharp, glass-like needles (which are identified as a form of Ki Blast in Xenoverse 2). Then, he swings his arm back and fires the energy needles at his opponent, inflicting a high amount of damage.

Super Janemba's second Lightning Shower Rain

Super Janemba uses this attack during his battle against Goku and Vegeta in Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn. After Super Janemba uses his Mystic Attack to stretch his arm and strangle Vegeta, Goku saves him and they both hide in a mountain of spikes. While Goku is trying to convince Vegeta to fuse together, Super Janemba attempts to murder the two Saiyans firing the Lightning Shower Rain at the spiked mountain. Fortunately, Goku and Vegeta dodge the attack with just a few cuts.

Janembu using Lightning Shower Rain in Dokkan Battle

Lightning Shower Rain was named in the Budokai Tenkaichi series and is one of Super Janemba's Blast 2 attacks in his super form. In Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai and Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai - Another Road, it is called Needle Mountain Hell. It is Super Janemba's super attack in Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle. It also appears as a super attack for Janembu in Dokkan Battle.

In Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, it appears under the name Dimension Ray and is one of Super Janemba's Ultimate Skills. It is also used by Mira in story mission "Bardock, the Masked Man" indicating that Towa may have incorporated Janemba's DNA into Mira when she reconstructed his body after it was destroyed by the Toki Toki City Hero in Dragon Ball Xenoverse. It can also be obtained by the Future Warrior by purchasing it from the TP Medal Shop.[1] Interestingly, the glass-like sharps produced by this technique are identified as a type of Ki Blast that are razor sharp, thus classifying it as a unique form of Energy Barrage.

In Dragon Ball Fusions, Lightning Shower Rain is a learnable Special Move for Super Janemba, Janembu, Pipila, Jamila, Kadoola, and Yashimo. Tekka can learn it by preforming EX-Fusion with a Lightning Shower Rain user.

in Dragon Ball FighterZ it appears this time under the name Needle Light Shower and serves as Janemba's Meteor Super. The attack comes out very quickly after the initial superpause animation, allowing for wider comboability. Unlike most portrayals, this version of the move appears more green in colour.
