Laura Dawn Bailey (born May 28, 1981, in Biloxi, Mississippi) is an American actress, voice actress, ADR director, and line producer. She has provided voices for a number of English language versions of Japanese anime films, television series, as well as video games.

Biography

Bailey is best known for her role as Trunks as a child and the second voice of Dende as a child (replacing Ceyli Delgadillo) in the FUNimation dub of Dragon Ball Z. She also voiced Erasa and Marron. For Dragon Ball, she has voice acted for Chi-Chi as a child, Hasky, Ranfan, Fanfan, as well as Akane Kimidori in the Dr. Slump crossover episodes. In Dragon Ball GT, she voiced Oceanus Shenron. While she did not reprise her role of Dende in Dragon Ball Z Kai, she voiced Vegeta as a child. She also voiced Suno in the video game Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo.

Some of her other roles include Sana Kurata in Kodocha, Serena Sebastion in the Case Closed series, Marlene Angel in Blue Gender, Tohru Honda in Fruits Basket, Rayne in the Bloodrayne video game series, Lust in the Fullmetal Alchemist franchise, Shinnosuke "Shin" Nohara in Crayon Shin-Chan, Keiko Yukimura in Yu Yu Hakusho, Tokine Yukimura in Kekkaishi, Shin-Chan Nohara in the Shin-Chan series, Maka Albarn in Soul Eater, Hiyori Sarugaki and Tier Harribel in the Bleach franchise, Blaze the Cat and Omochao in all Sonic video games past 2010, Chun-Li in various Street Fighter video games, and Serah Farron in Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy XIII-2. She also voices the character of Platinum the Trinity in the BlazBlue series; Platinum is a girl with three souls, and it is notable that one of the souls, Sena, sounds like Trunks as a child.
