Ever since Goku became Earth's greatest hero and gathered the seven Dragon Balls to defeat the evil Boo, his life on Earth has grown a little dull. But new threats loom overhead, and Goku and his friends will have to defend the planet once again in this continuation of Akira Toriyama's best-selling series, "Dragon Ball Super"![1]
Last Chance For Hope
Goku Black's identity has been revealed as Zamas, the Lord of Lords from Universe 10! But he's not alone—his counterpart from the parallel universe has teamed up with him and thanks to the Super Dragon Balls, they are nearly unstoppable! In the present, Goku trains with Master Roshi to perfect the Mafuba to seal Zamas away. Meanwhile Kaio-shin takes Lord Gowas, Zamas's mentor, to the parallel universe to confront his former pupil![2]

A long, long time ago, Son Goku left on a journey in search of the legendary Dragon Balls—a set of seven balls that, when gathered, would summon the dragon Shenlong to grant any wish. After a great adventure, he collects them all. Later, he become the apprentice of Kame-Sen'nin, fight a number of vicious enemies, defeats the great Majin Boo and restores peace on Earth. Some time passes, and then Lord Beerus, the God Destruction, suddenly awakens and sets out in search of the Super Saiyan God. Goku, by becoming that Super Saiyan God, manages to stop Beerus from destroying Earth and starts training under him with Vegeta. One day, Future Trunks appears from a future parallel universe. In his time, a mysterious man named Goku Black has steadily been destroying the Earth. Goku and Vegeta travel to the future timeline to confront Goku Black, who is really Zamas, the apprentice to the Lord of Lords from Universe 10 who used the Super Dragon Balls to switch bodies with Goku. Goku Black transforms into his Super Saiyan Rosé, and with the help of the Zamas from the parallel world, push Goku and Vegeta into retreating back to their own time!.[2]
Volume introduction by Toyotarō[]
"Toriyama Sensei said, ""Dragon Ball" is full of weirdos. But in the end, they all end up looking like good people." He didn't say that the characters are good people to begin with. He said that they end up looking like them. I just thought, "I see.""[2]
