Biography[]
Dragon Ball Daima[]
Daima Saga[]
Goku's group encounter a Kraken after the Gendarmerie force their craft to fly low, resulting in the destruction of their plane. When Vegeta and his group arrive in the Second Demon World they too encounter one but manage to get out of range of its attack thanks to Goku's warning.[1]

Vegeta spots the Kraken
During his fight with Tamagami Number Two, Vegeta is knocked into the water and accidentally comes across another Kraken, who tries to use its powerful suction breath to eat him. Vegeta releases more of his power to overpower the vacuum, flying out of the water to escape the Kraken, but after eating a hit from Number Two, Vegeta is knocked back into the Kraken's range, where the monster jumps out of the water to try engulfing him whole.[2] Vegeta later becomes a Super Saiyan while fighting the Kraken and Number Two at the same time, eventually ascending to Super Saiyan 2 to escape the Kraken's mouth. The Kraken then lost interest in the conflict and left, later seen calmly drifting in the ocean after Vegeta defeated Number Two.[3]
Power[]
Kraken are very powerful creatures. At least one Kraken was fast enough to keep up with a Gendarmerie ship's speed, and Goku had doubts about himself, Vegeta and Piccolo being able to handle it, despite having access to at least his Super Saiyan 2 transformation. However, Vegeta was still able to outrun one in his base form and escape from within its mouth with his own Super Saiyan 2 form.
