John Robert Mitchell (born September 10, 1977) is an English musician who co-composed the musical score for Ocean Group dubs of the Android and Buu arcs.
Biography[]
Other shows Mitchell has contributed music for include Billy the Cat (1996), Yoroiden Samurai Troopers (1988), Mega Man (1994) and Monster Rancher (2000).
Work on the show[]
Mitchell, along with writing partner Tom Keenlyside, composed the score for Ocean Group's 2000-2002 dub of Dragon Ball Z episodes 108-276. They replaced the previous Ocean composer Shuki Levy, with their score continuing the synth/rock style used by Levy in the early episodes. Many of their Dragon Ball Z pieces were also used earlier in the Ocean dubs of Mega Man and Monster Rancher.
