The Inner Nature Unleashed (覚醒状態, Hon'nō no Kaihō Jōtai) is the form the race of the Heeters take on once they have unleased their inner nature and gone berserk.

Behind the Scenes

This form had no official name as of the interview with Toyotarou in August of 2022, he had come up with a name for it but had not yet discussed it with Akira Toriyama. The form was later referred to as the "Inner Nature Unleashed" state in the Dragon Ball Super Interval Special.

Overview

Gas in the Inner Nature Unleashed

A Heeter can unleash a transformation based on instinct, releasing dangerous lightning-like ki and causing them to go berserk. Like other berserker states, the Heeter's muscle mass experiences tremendous growth and their eyes blank out, denoting their mindless status. Additionally, their incisors grow into fangs, and they gain horns hanging down from their temples.

Usage and Power

40 years before the Granolah the Survivor Saga, the young Gas utilized this form against Bardock after getting frustrated, but was defeated thanks to Bardock evolving through pure focus on victory.

When the battle between Gas - who has become the strongest warrior in the universe - and the full power Granolah reaches a stalemate, Elec opts to have Gas take on this state under the belief he will now be able to control it. After going on a rampage and attacking not only Granolah and Vegeta but also the likes of Oil and Macki, Gas finally controls this power after Elec gets through to him and Gas remembers his defeat at Bardock's hand thanks to Goku's visage, regaining his Awakened Form - now with full access to the power.

Enhancement

A user of this form can gain control of it, allowing them to use the full power of this state in their controlled Awakened Form.
