"A powerful combo that will overwhelm your opponent. Use it while transformed to easily break your opponent's guard."
In order to use the attack, Cabba charges at the opponent and stuns them with a powerful punch. Then, Cabba unleashes a barrage of punches and knocks the opponent with one kick and then sends upward with a using his two legs. Cabba teleports behind the opponent in the air and knocks them down with a Double Axe Handle. To finish the assault, Cabba unleashes a huge barrage of ki blasts at the opponent.
Cabba used this attack in his fight with Vegeta during the Tournament of Destroyers. When Vegeta begins to overwhelm Cabba and threatens to not only kill him but destroy his home planet, Cabba snaps and attains his Super Saiyan form. In the heat of his anger, Cabba uses the Impulse Rush rush attack on Vegeta, pressuring the Saiyan prince and forcing him on the defensive. Vegeta then withstands the attack and Cabba stops attacking, realizing he only acted harshly to goad him to transform as the form is triggered by rage.
Video Game Appearances
This attack was named in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 where it appears as Cabba's signature Ultimate Skill. It can also be obtained by the Future Warrior by purchasing it from the TP Medal Shop. If performed while using an Awoken Skill transformation, it can easily break the opponent's guard.
- In Xenoverse 2, the name of this attack in the English version is apparently mistranslated as Impulse Slash, while in Japanese is Impulse Rush (インパルスラッシュ Inparusu Rasshu). If it was Impulse Slash, then in Japanese it should be インパルススラッシュ (Inparusu Surasshu). However, it is possible that the attack was renamed at some point during the localization of the game.
