"I'm gonna finish this right now."
Goku in "Signs of a Turnabout! The Autonomous Ultra Instinct Erupts!"

Divine Kamehameha (神超かめはめ波 Kami Chō Kamehameha) is a more powerful variation of the Kamehameha used by Goku in his Ultra Instinct Sign and True Ultra Instinct forms.

Overview[]

The Divine Kamehameha is effectively a Kamehameha wave performed with much more energy output and force than even a God Kamehameha. Much like its original version, it can be manipulated to the user's advantage, such as sliding along an incoming blast to close the gap or quickly converting the energy into a defensive barrier.

Usage and Power[]

Goku used this attack while in his Ultra Instinct Sign state to defeat Kefla during the Tournament of Power after she attempted to defeat him with her Ray Blast and Gigantic Burst, claiming he was unable to dodge the blast in midair. By flipping in the air and sliding the Kamehameha energy sphere on top of the Gigantic Burst, Goku was able to close the distance between them and unleash the Divine Kamehameha point-blank, sending her flying off the stage and forcefully shattering the Potara, eliminating her (and by effect, Caulifla and Kale together).

Later during the Tournament, Goku uses Divine Kamehameha in his battle against Jiren, although it is negated by a concentrated Power Impact, enabling Jiren to blast Goku away, but he manages to use the energy of his Kamehameha as an energy shield to reduce the strength of Jiren's blast.

In the Galactic Patrol Prisoner Saga, Goku uses a similar technique against Moro during their initial battle on Earth.

Variations[]

Video Game Appearances[]

The technique is named Instinctive Reprisal in the Dragon Ball Super Card Game.

In FighterZ, it appears as a Dramatic Finish for Goku (SSGSS) against Kefla. Additionally, Ultra Instinct Goku has a version of the move that can either be performed forward or backward.

In Dokkan Battle, it appears as a Super Attack for Goku (Ultra Instinct -Sign-), capable of breaking through the enemy's Type advantage upon contact.

In Dragon Ball Legends, it appears as the Legendary Finish for Legends Limited Ultra Instinct Sign Goku's Autonomous Assault Ultimate Move Arts.

In Xenoverse 2, it is a Super Skill used by Goku in his complete Ultra Instinct form under the name Divine Kamehameha, which costs 2 bars of Ki to perform and allows him to vanish several times during the attack as he charges, in addition to performing the same surfing motions on enemies' energy blasts he displayed against Kefla. It can circumvent the hyper armor usually granted by Ultimate Skills. As part of the 1.14.00 Update DLC, Divine Kamehameha can be purchased by the Future Warrior from the TP Medal Shop. During a DLC scenario, Ultra Instinct Sign Goku uses a Divine Kamehameha to defeat Kid Buu by surfing along the side of his Vanishing Ball, also blowing away Dabura in the process.

In Dragon Ball Heroes, it is named Meteor Kamehameha.
