I am Super Vegeta! is a Power Up used by Vegeta in his Super Saiyan Second Grade, Super Saiyan Blue, and Super Saiyan God SS Evolved forms.

Overview[]

Vegeta points at himself with his thumb and smirks, declaring his name and determination to win.

Usage[]

Vegeta uses this stance during his battle against Semi-Perfect Cell. After displaying Super Saiyan Second Grade and overwhelming Cell with attacks, the bio-Android is shocked that he is being outdone by "just Vegeta". Vegeta counters his disbelief by declaring that he is now "Super Vegeta" and resumes beating down Cell.

Vegeta uses the stance again to begin his fight with Goku Black, claiming that his Super Saiyan Blue form will be the one to bury the impostor.

During the Tournament of Power, when fighting Top, Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta uses the stance when declaring to the Pride Trooper that among the Saiyans present, he stands at the top.

Against Moro, after arriving back to Earth with Instant Transmission, Vegeta used the power-up when transforming into Super Saiyan God SS Evolved, claiming that if Moro wanted a real challenge, he was right there.

Video Game Appearance[]

In the Budokai Tenkaichi series and Raging Blast series, I'm Super Vegeta! appears as a technique for Super Vegeta and has similar effects to its I Am Vegeta! counterpart.

In Attack of the Saiyans, the technique appears under the name I Am Vegeta!. It raises all of his stats (Attack, Defense, Accuracy, Evade, and Speed) drastically.

This technique appears in Dokkan Battle as the Active Skill of Tenacious Secret Plan Super Vegeta.

In Xenoverse, it appears as Super Saiyan Vegeta's Z-Soul I am... Super Vegeta!! which can also be equipped by the Future Warrior. When equipped it increases Ki stat by 2 and Ki Blast Supers stat by 3 and decreases Strike Supers stat by 2. Also, when a Super Saiyan transformation is used the wearer receives a great increase to Ki Blast Super Skill power. This Z-Soul can be obtained in Parallel Quest 36: "The Cell Games Begin".

Trivia[]

  • A running gag exists within the Dragon Ball community that whenever Vegeta uses this power-up, he usually ends up being soundly defeated when his opponent subsequently transforms. This holds true for most encounters in which Vegeta used the power-up:
    • While Vegeta was able to outmatch Semi-Perfect Cell, Perfect Cell quickly decimated and humiliated him and broke his spine.
    • When Vegeta fought Goku Black, he was quickly outdone when Black used Super Saiyan Rosé, who impaled him and claimed he wasn't worth much, only an "appetizer".
    • Though Vegeta weakened Moro with Forced Spirit Fission, he was easily outmatched when Moro absorbed Seven-Three and was sent plummeting back to the ground, dropping out of Blue Evolved.
