Hiromi Tsuru (鶴 ひろみ, Tsuru Hiromi; March 29, 1960 - November 16, 2017) was a veteran voice actress from Kanagawa Prefecture. She was represented by Aoni Production.
She was most known for the roles of Bulma in Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT, Dragon Ball Kai, and Dragon Ball Super. She was also the voice for Bulma's daughter Bulla and Bulma's sister Tights, the infant forms of Piccolo and Trunks, as well as the West Supreme Kai in both Z and Kai (and thus Dragon Ball Heroes), but went uncredited for Z due to voicing Bulma in that episode. She was also uncredited for Vegeta Jr.'s mother.
Additionally, she voiced Meryl Stryfe from Trigun and Yubel from Yu-Gi-Oh! GX.
On November 16, 2017, Tsuru was found unconscious in her car and taken to a hospital where she was later pronounced dead. Her agency later confirmed that she died at the age of 57 from aortic dissection.
Her final words as Bulma, aside from Dragon Ball FighterZ, were in episode 96 Dragon Ball Super, "We're counting on you, everyone."
On February 16, 2018, a fellow veteran voice actress Aya Hisakawa was chosen to succeed the late-Tsuru.
