"Charge while using a Back Jump to gain distance."
Dragon Ball Xenoverse in-game description

High Tension Turn is a Rush Attack used by Goten.

Overview[]

The user performs a backflip then suddenly charges forward to deliver a charging punch.

Usage[]

In Dragon Ball Z: Broly - Second Coming, Goten used this technique to counterattack Broly, along with similar unnamed kicking technique used by Trunks. However, both of their techniques failed against the Legendary Saiyan's might.

In Dragon Ball Z: Bio-Broly, Goten and Trunks used this technique together against Bio-Broly and the combined impact of each of their attack was enough to damage Bio-Broly causing him cough up what appeared to be a mixture of culture fluid and blood.

Video Game Appearances[]

High Tension Turn was named in Dragon Ball Xenoverse where it appears as an Evasive Skill used by Goten and Kid Trunks. It is also GT Goku's Evasive Skill in his 1st skillset as part of the GT Pack 1 DLC. It can also be obtained by the Future Warrior as a reward in Parallel Quest 47: "Super-Super Ultimate Series of Battles!".

In Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, it returns as an Evasive Skill used by Kid Trunks and Goten. It can also be obtained by the Future Warrior by purchasing it from the Skill Shop in Conton City. It is also used by a non-playable version of GT Goku in Parallel Quest 92: "Revenge of the Tuffle".

It was originally only used by Kid Trunks in his Uniform skillset, though after the 1.07.00 Update it appears in Kid Trunks' Yellow Hoodie skillset as well.
