}} Hidden Potential (秘めたる力) is an energy wave used by Gohan. First, Gohan charges up and creates a whitish-blue energy sphere around his entire body. Then, he flies forward with his arms in front of him and fires a huge whitish-blue energy wave from his fists at the opponent, inflicting a massive amount of damage.

Gohan Using Hidden Potential in the manga

Gohan used this attack at the start of his training with Piccolo in preparation for the Saiyan invasion of Earth. Piccolo was curious of the amazing power Gohan displayed against Raditz and decided to test it by throwing the young Saiyan toward a large boulder. Gohan became frightened at first, but he managed to regain his focus and destroyed the entire boulder with the "Hidden Potential" energy wave, much to Piccolo's shock and amazement.

He also uses his Hidden Power in Dragon Ball Z: Dead Zone when Garlic Jr. try to pull his father into the Dead Zone. Gohan goes into a rage, drawing out his hidden power which is enough to blast Garlic Jr. backwards into the Dead Zone.

"Hidden Potential" was named in Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit and is one of Kid Gohan's ultimate attacks, but its color is yellow. It also appeared Dragon Ball: Raging Blast, where it is renamed "Hidden Power" and is one of Kid Gohan's Super Attacks. In this video game, its color has changed to blue and white.
