Healer-type Namekians are Namekians that have the ability to heal the wounds of others. The Namekians that have this ability are all members of the Dragon Clan.[2]
Overview[]
Dende is the first Namekian shown to have this ability in the Dragon Ball series and it later proved that he is a member of the Dragon Clan. During the Galactic Patrol Prisoner Saga, Grand Elder Moori's chosen successor Esca is revealed to be a Namekian of this type.
Video Game Appearances[]
In Dragon Ball Online, it is revealed that the Healer-type Namekian sub-class, named Dende Priest (or Dende Healer), is a succeeding supportive caste to the Dragon Clan core class. Members of this class have powerful healing abilities, similar to Dende himself, and wield scrolls on their backs in unison with their staves. In the video game Dragon Ball Z: Super Saiya Densetsu, Dende learns the ability to heal people once he reaches level 3.
In Dragon Ball Xenoverse, a Namekian Future Warrior can heal allies using Emperor's Sign (Frieza's Super Skill which has different effects depending on the user's race). The Namekian Future Warrior can also utilize Towa's Energy Zone to create a healing energy field. However, the Namekian Future Warrior is classified as a Warrior-type and is noted to be incapable of creating Dragon Balls.
In Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, a Namekian Future Warrior can heal allies using Emperor's Sign (Frieza's Super Skill which has different effects depending on the user's race) and Energy Zone. Additionally Mr. Satan's DUAL Ultimate Skill DUAL The Savior Has Come pose will heal the Namekian Future Warrior and their partner (Mr. Satan or Time Patroller NPCs).
In Dragon Ball Fusions, certain Namekian characters such as Eemai, Snel, and Toomlin can learn and utilize healing support special moves such as Heal Power, Super Heal Power, Perfect Heal Power, and Healing Shout.
In Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, Necke is revealed to be a healer type like his brother Dende as he uses his power to heal a injured lost Earthling girl named Ramu.
In Dragon Ball: The Breakers, Dende is among the Survivors found in Temporal Seams to be rescued by Future Trunks. Dende uses his healing abilities to heal the Survivor after they are defeated by Recoome and later heals Future Trunks while he is in Captain Ginyu's injured body after falling victim to Ginyu's Body Change. After the Body Change is reversed, Dende heals Future Trunks after he returns to his body. The Survivor can purchase Dende's character skin at the base's shop granting them his power as a Healer-type Namekian.
