Overview

Tien Cross Arm Dive Hammerhead

Tien uses Hammerhead a second time

After trading even blows and blocks, Tien seems to disappear but suddenly appears diving towards Jackie Chun in an attempt to knock him out the ring. However, the wise Turtle Hermit simply jumps out of the way.[1] Only in the anime, Tien uses the attack again near the end of his match with Jackie Chun, attacking from above this time.[2]

Appearances in games

This technique was named and is used by Tien in the Butōden series, notably in Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Battle 22. It is also one of Tien's strong physical strikes in the Budokai Tenkaichi series, notably used as part of his Tri-Attack technique.
