"Shish Kebab anyone? Ha ha ha ha ha ha. Personally, I prefer mine well done."
— Guldo in "Guldo's Mind Binds"

Guldo Special (グルドスペシャル Gurudo Supesharu) is a technique used by Guldo. It is a combination of his Paralysis and Psycho Javelin techniques.

First, Guldo curls his fingers and powers up. Then, he fires a white-clear beam that paralyzes the opponent by surrounding them with a purple cloud-like aura. Guldo then summons a tree trunk skewer, and he launches it at the opponent with his telekinesis to inflict a high amount of damage.

Guldo uses this attack in an attempt to kill Gohan and Krillin during their battle on Namek. However, at the last second, Vegeta intervenes, severs Guldo's head, and then blasts it with an Energy Wave, killing Guldo and ending the "Guldo Special" technique just before it impaled Gohan and Krillin.

Video Game Appearances

It was named "Guldo Special" in the Budokai Tenkaichi series and Raging Blast series, where it is Guldo's Ultimate Blast.

"Seal your enemy's movements with Psychokinesis and attack with a strong ice pillar!"
Dragon Ball Xenoverse in-game description

In Dragon Ball Xenoverse, it appears under the name Paralysis and is Guldo's Ultimate Skill. It can also be obtained by the Future Warrior in Parallel Quest 11: "Force Entrance Exam". Instead of a wooden stake used in most depictions of the technique, in Xenoverse the user attacks with an ice pillar that freezes the opponent it hits.

In Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Paralysis returns as one of Guldo's Super Skills which the Future Warrior can obtain as a reward in Parallel Quest 34: "Return of the Ginyu Force!".

In the Xenoverse series, Guldo also uses a weaker version of the technique as his grab throw, though in this case Time Control is used to freeze the opponent instead of telekinesis and a chuck of ice is thrown instead of an ice pillar.
