During Xeno Trunks' investigation of the anomalies in the game world of Super Dragon Ball Heroes caused by the "the menace", in order to hide his identity in Hero Town due to being a famous celebrity among the locals as a result of the popularity of SDBH, Xeno Trunks had Leggings create a high-tech Great Saiyaman Suit based off the original design of his mother's main timeline counterpart.
To fit with his sword-based fighting style, Leggings also made him a new high-tech sword to wield in his costumed identity as his original sword could ruin the disguise. The sword is durable and sharp enough to cut through the game world Cooler's Bio Suit and block his punch while in his Fourth Transformation indicating its sharpness is comparable to his original blade and it is durable enough to survive a punch from an enemy of Fourth Transformation Cooler's caliber.
In Chapter 1 of World Mission, Great Saiyaman 3 wields the sword while protecting Beat from the game world Cooler who had escaped to Hero Town due to an anomaly created in the game world by "the menace". After using the sword to block a punch meant for Beat after he was able to cancel Cooler's Ki Blast by subconsciously using his ki defensively while guarding, Great Saiyaman 3 uses the sword to kill Cooler with a Burning Slash, like Future Trunks did to Frieza with his sword in the main timeline.
In Chapter 2, Sub Chapter 2: "Hero Town in Danger!", he wields the sword during his Justice Slash Super Attacks against game world Dabura (Villainous Mode), Spopovich (Villainous Mode), and Yamu (Villainous Mode) when they invade Hero Town after detecting Beat and Note's powerful ki which unlike Great Saiyaman 3, they are unable to suppress. However Dabura has Spopovich and Yamu use Majin Buu Resurrection to steal Great Saiyaman 3's energy sidelining him, forcing Beat and Note to seek out new Hero Switch-compatible recruits.
