"Gogeta vs. the Crimson-Masked Saiyan" (ゴジータVSバーサスあかめん のサイヤじん Gojīta Bāsasu Akaki Kamen no Saiya-jin) is the twelfth chapter of the Super Dragon Ball Heroes: Big Bang Mission!!! manga.

Summary[]

In space, Gogeta challenges the Crimson-Masked Saiyan to battle. Without warning, Crimson attacks though Gogeta dodges the attack with ease and casually speaks with the Warrior in Black, telling him that he is surprised that he is a Saiyan but can tell from his energy signature that he is not another version of Goku. Upon telling him that he will defeat his enemy, Crimson attacks again though Gogeta blocks the attack with his fingers and transforms into Super Saiyan Blue.

Gogeta quickly appears behind Crimson and with a slight chop to the back of the neck sends him crashing into an asteroid before attacking with a large blade made of energy. However, Gogeta is surprised to learn that he was not killed from the attack as Crimson explains that he is immortal. Crimson fires a Super Black Kamehameha at Gogeta to which he counters with one in return, a much larger blast which effortlessly overpowers Crimson's.

Crimson-Masked Saiyan's Full Power form

When the smoke clears, Crimson emerges in a new Super Saiyan Rosé Full Power form. The Warrior in Black begins to understand how his immortality works, explaining that his body is made out of energy. Crimson further explains by saying that his body has been formed by converting all of the energy that had been gathered during the numerous fights that took place in the Pseudo Universe. In addition, he is also powering up with each near-death experience, surpassing the limits of his body due to a God's mind having entered his body.

Gogeta pummels Crimson-Masked Saiyan

Crimson and Gogeta continue to battle, with the two being largely evenly matched thanks in part to Crimson's regeneration. Noticing that his energy is not lowering and that he has a limited amount of time to work with, Gogeta evolves further and unleashes a barrage of punches which quickly causes Crimson's energy to fade. As Gogeta prepares to finish off Crimson with a Galick Kamehameha, the fusion runs out, but Goku and the Warrior in Black unleash a combined Kamehameha blast which eradicates Crimson, leaving the One-Star Dragon Ball behind. Suddenly, Chamel appears and tells them to hurry as the remaining Dragon Balls had already been gathered and they must escape as there had been a troublesome development.

Meanwhile in the Crack of Time, a youthful looking Fu voices his intention to begin his grand experiment.
