The Gods of the Universe Saga (宇宙の神々編 Uchū no Kamigami Hen) is the story arc following the Kid Buu Saga.[1] The events of this era are depicted in the two movies Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods and Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ and also in the Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ manga. This saga was also adapted into the first two sagas of the Dragon Ball Super series.
Plot
The God of Destruction's Awakening
Main article: Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods In Age 778, the God of Destruction Beerus awakens and begins searching for the legendary Super Saiyan God. He confronts the Z-Fighters during Bulma's birthday party, with Goku facing him in a climactic battle that will decide the fate of the Earth.
The Emperor's Rebirth
