"What a waste."
— Vegeta while charging the technique to finish off Broly in Dragon Ball Super: Broly

God Heat Flash is a stronger variation of Big Bang Attack used by Vegeta in Super Saiyan God.

Overview

To preform the attack, Vegeta extends his arm, opens his hand, and charges ki in the palm of his hand, similar to the normal Big Bang Attack. However, Vegeta fires the attack as a beam instead of a sphere.

Usage

In Dragon Ball Super: Broly, Vegeta uses this technique as an attempt to finish off Broly, despite Goku yelling at him to not do it. The attack lands, hitting Broly and destroying the glacier he was on, landing into water below. The attack seemingly finishes Broly, but Broly powers up into his Wrath State unscathed.

Video Game Appearances

God Heat Flash is named in Dragon Ball Legends, where it is Super Saiyan God Vegeta's Special Move Card Arts Attack and can be taught to Shallot.

God Heat Flash was first shown in Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle, where it is called Big Bang Attack and Super Saiyan God Vegeta's Super Attack.

This technique also appears under the name of Blazing Attack as Super Saiyan God Vegeta's Super Skill in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 as part of the Ultra Pack 1 DLC. The Future Warrior can obtain it as a random reward dropped in Parallel Quest #136: Breaking Down The Barrier during an Ultimate Finish.

God Heat Flash appears in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot's first DLC as a learnable attack after Vegeta attains Super Saiyan God.
