Gill Missile (ギルミサイル Giru Misairu) is a missile attack used by Giru.

Overview[]

Hidden Danger - Gill Rocket

Gill fires a rocket to defrost the Grand Tour spaceship

Giru opens his torso, revealing a missile inside, and fires off the missile up at the opponent, inflicting a great amount of damage.

In video games, Pan charges at the opponent, kicking and slapping their stomach before uppercutting them into the air. Then, she and Giru fly down to the ground, where Pan points at the opponent and shouts "Let's show off!", which Giru responds by opening his torso and firing off the missile up at the opponent while Pan is covering her ears.

Usage[]

AWP - Gill Missile

Giru attacks Baby Vegeta with his missiles a second time

Giru uses his missiles on planet M-2 in Dragon Ball GT: he uses them to destroy equipment in Dr. Myuu's lair as a diversion so that he can free Goku and Pan,[1] and later to defrost the heroes' spaceship.[2] On Earth, the Machine Mutant uses the attack on Baby Vegeta, but to no avail. Shortly thereafter, Giru fires another set of missiles at the Tuffle parasite, which are easily countered with an Energy Wave that destroys them and sends a damaged Giru into a wall.[3]

Giru later uses his missile attack against Haze Shenron.[4]

Video Game Appearances[]

Gill Missile was named in the Budokai Tenkaichi series and is one of Pan's Blast 2. Originally, the missile does not actually inflict damage onto the opponent in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2. This is fixed in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3, with the missile Giru fired actually damaging the opponent.
