Gigantic Spike (ギガンティックスパイク Gigantikku Supaiku) is a Rush Attack used by Broly in his Legendary Super Saiyan form.

Broly grabs the opponent's head and flies down to the ground as he drives the opponent head-first into the ground or a wall, resulting in an earthquake and inflicting a massive amount of damage.

Giant Hammer

Bio-Broly's Gigantic Spike on Trunks

He uses this attack during his battle against Gohan in his Super Saiyan 2 form in Dragon Ball Z: Broly - Second Coming. Gohan flies up to Broly and punches him in the face, though Broly is unfazed and retaliates by punching Gohan away. Broly flies after Gohan and attacks him with the Gigantic Spike, causing the ground to collapse and fall down into lava.

Bio-Broly also uses this attack a few times against Trunks and Goten in Dragon Ball Z: Bio-Broly.

Video Game Appearances

The technique was named Gigantic Spike in Dragon Ball Z: Supersonic Warriors 2, where it appears as one of his Super Attacks.

Broly also uses the Gigantic Spike in the Budokai series at the start of his Ultimate Attack: he charges at the opponent and attacks them with the Eraser Blow before brutally beating them down with the Gigantic Spike and finishing them off with the Omega Blaster.

Yamcha Broly 3 Zenkai Royale

Broly using Gigantic Driver on Yamcha in Zenkai Battle

The technique is called Gigantic Driver in Dragon Ball: Zenkai Battle: it is impossible to guard against the technique when Broly picks up his opponents and spins them around. In this way, he can inflict major damage on both the enemy he hits and the enemy he hits them with. He can also guard with a held enemy.

In Dragon Ball Xenoverse it returns as one of Broly's Super Attacks, albeit this time he creates an energy ball within his palm, before slamming them into the ground and releasing said energy ball.
