Gendarmerie (憲兵隊 Kenpei-tai, lit. "Kempeitai") are the military police employed by the King of the Demon Realm.
Overview[]
Similar to Earth's Military, the Gendarmerie uphold the law and order in the Demon Realm. They collect the offerings for the Supreme Demon King the demons must pay or take their life energy if they can't pay.
There is a Gendarmerie outpost located out front of the Demon's King Palace with additional soldiers located inside the castle.
The Gendarmerie is shown to have military vehicles such as Armed Planes and Tanks which are powerful enough to stun even the likes of Goku, Vegeta and Piccolo.
Additionally, a separate faction of five elite members of the Gendarmerie makes up the Gendarmerie Force led by Kadem.

- The Gendarmerie is named after the real-life Gendarmerie, a military force with law enforcement duties among the civilian population.
