Gamma Burst Flash (ガンマバーストフラッシュ Ganma Bāsuto Furasshu) is the most powerful energy wave technique used by Vegeta in his Super Saiyan Blue state that appears in the Dragon Ball Super manga.

Overview

Vegeta charges ki in both of his hands like a variant of Final Flash and then releases it similar to a Double Galick Cannon with his hands in an inverted position, resulting in a devastating beam capable of greatly damaging even those who are stronger than Vegeta himself.

Usage and Power

After Vegeta powers up and saves Goku, he uses this attack against Goku Black and Future Zamasu (who had both individually morphed into Fused Zamasu). The attack was strong enough to blow the duo into pieces, however, they regenerate and multiply into more Zamasus. It is noted by Future Trunks that this technique is extremely detrimental to Vegeta and that it was not a good idea for him to use it while already battle damaged. Due to such massive amount of ki released it drains the last of Vegeta's energy and returns to his base form.

In the Tournament of Power, after all three fighters were almost completely drained, Vegeta used this technique with Goku's Kamehameha to try to eliminate Jiren. Ultimately the attacks failed, merely scuffing the exhausted Pride Trooper and blasting off his shirt.

Video Game Appearances

Gamma Burst Flash makes its debut appearance in Super Dragon Ball Heroes as a technique for SS Blue (Evolved) Vegeta, introduced in the first mission of the Universe Mission series (UM1).

Gamma Burst Flash appears in Ultra Pack 1 of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, as Super Saiyan God Vegeta's Ultimate Skill, under the name Prominence Flash[1].
