Quick Answers

How did Future Whis's role change after Future Beerus's death? toggle section
Future Whis's role changed after Future Beerus's death because, as Beerus's angel, he ceased to exist. Whis would only return when a new God of Destruction is appointed, leaving him inactive until then.

What events led to Future Whis's timeline diverging from Whis's? toggle section
Future Whis's timeline diverged from Whis's in Age 764 when Future Goku killed Future Frieza and Future King Cold using Instant Transmission. Unlike the main timeline, Future Trunks did not arrive to warn the Z-Fighters about the Androids, leading to Future Goku's death from a heart virus. This absence of intervention resulted in a significant timeline divergence.

Does Future Whis die in the alternate timeline? toggle section
Future Whis does not die in the alternate timeline. The fate of Whis is tied to the God of Destruction, and while the God of Destruction in the alternate timeline has died, there is no direct mention of Future Whis's death. A new timeline is created where Project Zero Mortals is prevented, allowing Future Trunks and Future Mai to live there.

Why didn't the prophecy of the Super Saiyan God arise in Future Whis's timeline? toggle section
In Future Whis's timeline, the prophecy of the Super Saiyan God did not arise because Future Goku, a potential Super Saiyan God, died from a Heart Virus in Age 766. This prevented Future Beerus from awakening, as Goku's presence was necessary for the prophecy to manifest. The subsequent deaths of Future Vegeta and Future Gohan by the Androids further ensured the prophecy remained unfulfilled.

What impact did Future Goku's death have on Future Whis's duties? toggle section
Future Goku's death from a heart virus in Age 766 affected Future Whis's duties significantly. The prophecy of the Super Saiyan God did not occur, leaving Future Beerus asleep indefinitely. As a result, Future Whis did not visit Earth and became inactive after Future Beerus's death, needing a new God of Destruction. Future Whis ultimately died when Future Zeno erased the timeline.

Biography[]

Background[]

Future Whis' life was the same as his counterpart until Age 766 when Future Goku, who had the potential to become a Super Saiyan God, had died from a Heart Virus, and the Androids killing Future Vegeta and Future Gohan, 13 years later, thus the prophecy of the Super Saiyan God did not arise in Beerus' head and he had no reason to wake the Destroyer. Due to Goku's death, he never visited Earth with Future Beerus, who remained asleep indefinitely on his planet.

"Future" Trunks Saga[]

Shin explained that due to the death of Future Beerus, Future Whis is rendered inactive until a new God of Destruction is appointed. Along with the other Angels, Future Whis died when the timeline was erased by Future Zeno.

Although he is rendered inactive, in the second timeline he is still alive due to Future Trunks and Future Mai helping prevent Future Beerus' death by saving Future Shin from Future Dabura and Future Babidi.
