Fury (怒り Ikari, lit. "Rage") is an enraged state used by Beerus.
Overview[]
Appearance[]
Beerus gains a purple aura resembling the Energy of Destruction, making him appear shinier and fierce looking. Despite this, Beerus tends to smile when using this form.
Usage and Power[]
During his initial battle with the Dragon Team on Earth, Beerus activates Fury after Good Buu refuses to give him any pudding. Beerus then easily overwhelms the Z Fighters.
He also uses the state when preparing to destroy Earth.
In the manga, he briefly uses it to defeat Perfected Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta during their sparring match before the Universe Survival Saga.
According to Whis, Beerus in his Fury state is capable of destroying two suns (either one binary solar system or the equivalent of two solar systems).
Film Appearances[]
In Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods, Beerus used this state against the Dragon Team after Good Buu refuses to give him any pudding.

In Dragon Ball Heroes, Fury Beerus makes his debut introduced in the third mission of the God Mission series (GDM3). In the game, Beerus' transformation is called "God of Destruction Enraged" and it increases his power by 5000 when they transform.
"Now I'm...REALLY FUMING!!!" |
In Dokkan Battle, Beerus has two different versions of his Fury. For Devastating Punishment Beerus, his Quivering Anger Passive Skill activates the form when the player's HP is <= 30%, making Beerus immune to damage and granting him a wider range of Super Attacks than before: Flick, Cataclysmic Orb and God of Destruction's Edict from his "base" form. For Hot-Blooded God of Destruction Beerus, his Wrath Active Skill can be used once when HP is 70% or less starting from the 4th turn of combat, drastically increasing his attack and defense and guaranteeing his attacks connect with Type advantage.
"Oh dear... He's quite upset now. This won't do at all. He must be subdued. Your assistance is required. The last time he was this angry, he extinguished two suns. Supreme Kai of Time, your cooking is the cause of this. It's driven the God of Destruction mad." |
In Xenoverse 2, in the God of Destruction's Anger Saga Beerus briefly uses Fury twice. The first time occurs after he loses his patience after the fight with Masked Saiyan and Mira interrupted his conversation with Goku on his absorption of the Super Saiyan God power in Age 778 and the Future Warrior's fight with the villains had dragged on for far too long. Beerus states he has half a mind to destroy them all right there and Old Kai notes that in his angered state Beerus could easily destroy everything, though Chronoa manages to calm him down by offering him pudding in exchange for agreeing not to destroy the universe. However this reprieve is short lived after Beerus ate Chronoa's horrible pudding as she is a notoriously terrible cook. Whis notes that the last time he was that angry he extinguished two suns and requests the Future Warrior's assistance in fighting Beerus to calm him down, as Goku suffers from stomach cramps due to having eaten some of Chronoa's pudding as well thus sidelined during the battle as he recovers. Despite it appearing briefly in a cutscene, Rage Mode does not appear as an Awoken Skill or power-up.
In World Mission, Beerus' Rage Mode is called Fury which appears as one of his playable forms.
"Shut up. Not another word. You monster. Parasite! I'm gonna end you! You'll regret writing us off as weaklings... ...demolishing this city... ...and running into ME! I told you to shut your trap! I guess I'll shut it for you... permanently! You ready for a fight? Too bad... 'Cause This Will Be A MASSACRE!" |
In Dragon Ball Legends, after training under Vegeta and Nappa with Zahha and Gohan (Kid), Shallot through rage at Raditz's evil actions, temporarily takes on an enraged state similar to Broly's Wrathful state, though with red eyes and a Great Ape aura. It should be noted that the red eyes resemble Gohan's when enraged as a kid (which appears in the background of one of his character illustrations) though it also may be connected to Shallot's genetic heritage as a descendant of the Original Super Saiyan God and member of the Super Saiyan God subspecies of Ancient Saiyan.
