Full Power Death Beam[2] (フルパワーデスビーム Furupawā Desubīmu) is a full-powered version of the Death Beam used by Cell in his Super Perfect form.
Overview
The user extends his index finger forward and fires a Death Beam that is slightly bigger and more powerful than the original. The technique is performed by Cell due to some of his cells originating from the technique's presumed inventor King Cold.
Usage
After self-destructing on King Kai's Planet and regenerating himself, Super Perfect Cell returns to Earth by using Instant Transmission and uses the Full Power Death Beam to randomly kill Future Trunks, much to the rest of the Dragon Team' shock and surprise.
Video Game Appearances
The attack is briefly seen in a cutscene in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai where Super Perfect Cell randomly fires this attack at Future Trunks. "Full Power Death Beam" was named in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3, where it's one of the Blast 2 attacks of King Cold and Super Perfect Cell, and is the only clashable Finger Beam. The Full Power Death Beam also appears in Dragon Ball Z: Raging Blast 2 and Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z as one of Perfect Cell's Super Attacks named Perfect Death Beam.

Piercing Beam in the DBZ Collectible Card Game
- Cell's attack appears in the Dragon Ball Z Collectible Card Game as part of the card "Namekian Piercing Beam" ; it is an energy attack which, if successful, discards one of the opponent's allies in play and lowers their anger level by one.
- The initial dub had Cell indicate to have deliberately target Future Trunks with his boast of "My aim is as good as ever! It's so good to be back!". The remastered versions changed this to have him say "Who did I kill? Trunks?", making clear that Cell had simply hit Future Trunks randomly.
- The Full Power Death Beam's color was originally yellow when Cell performs the move, whereas the color changes to purple when King Cold and Cell perform the move in Budokai Tenkaichi 3.
