Hey Guys. I thought about the zenkai abilty of saiyans... why is it not mentioned after frieza saga? would it not be possible to say train to almost death all the time and use a zenzu bean or dende to recover and gain more and more power? Also i read on a few therories for example it does not work after you reached the state of the ssj, but i dont think its true. i like the theory better that the gains of zenkai will be just too small to count. But the problem with this one is that cell got a huge powerup after he almost died, because of his saiyan cells.Also there is the fact that zenkai boosts were different all the time, for example the power goku gains on namek after fighting ginyu is much bigger than the the boosts vegeta gains? anyone an idea whys that? Just share your thougts on this, because i really cant stop thinking about this and would like to hear your opinions ;) greets Jan

Thought I should throw in Bardocks name. He seemed to gain a nice chunk of power after being defeated. And I guess technically Goku achieved SSJ2 and defiently SSJ 3 after death. IN fact in the living world SSJ3 consumed too much power. But yeah, I'd like to have an answer to this.
It's either because the zenakis were so insignificant after the Cell Saga (yeah, don't forget Cell got one too) that they were completely abandoned or maybe because the zenakis ddidn't really multiply your powers, but rather it was an addition. However, some of the zenkais seem to give a MASSIVE increase like Gokus 8,000 power level increasing to 90,000 was it? Or when Vegeta was weaker than Frieza's first form, but then going up to I think Frieza's third form? Dunno, but most of these zenkais were implemented for the plot not based on logic from my perspective.
