I chose the rematch fight between Goku and Vegeta and my reason is simple. They both are light years stronger than they were in the 1st fight and it's way more at stake during this fight. However, I LOVE the first fight, I find it to be ground breaking and classical on top of a shit-load of suspense.
Although, it's just something about the rematch that does it for me. Regardless of Goku holding back his SSJ3 technique it was an excellent display of skills/power and how strong both of them got within those 7years. Even though Vegeta was evil to the core back in the first fight in the 2nd it gives you a taste of the old Vegeta which is delicious! Lol. So which fight do you people prefer?
The rematch[]
Too many other characters interference in the first fight and there's big power gap beetween Goku and Vegeta. Besides at that time Vegeta didn't even consider Goku as a rival, and I love Goku and Vegeta's rivalry. So.. Yeah, I prefer the rematch. Hiruman (talk) 00:01, January 9, 2013 (UTC)
The first fight is more intense, if Goku couldn't do it, the Earth would be destroyed. And Vegeta was far stronger than Goku, he only defeated him due to help of the kaioken, Gohan, Krillin and even Yajirobe.
The second fight was merely a rematch, they were even at SS2 but Goku hold back his SS3, and Vegeta got a boost due to his Majin form. That's why Vegeta beat Goku.

Rematch[]
