Did Krillin ever really do anything useful in any of the series? His greatest accomplishments I think was being the punching bag to infuriate other characters (Goku [Tamborine and Frieza] an Gohan [Just about everyone in dbz] pretty much.) His shining combat moment was killing the three saibamen. Am I missing anything though? Aside from the saibamen, I can't remember him doing anything of importance. He is, besides Goku, one of the strongest and most important characters in the DB. Of course in DBZ, after all those Kaio-Kens and SSJs, simple human like Krillin can't do much, but in the orginal DB, where he could compare with Goku, he played a major role. He did some job, fighting Nappa and Vegeta, he was really helpful on Namek. After that saga he became compleatly, well, useless. He didn't do much.
But the biggest accomplishemnt of all is of course dating Maron ! Oko500 (talk) 03:37, February 1, 2013 (UTC)
Krillin has my respect.[]
If you wanna be technical he's considered Goku's 1st rival, he's been around since almost day one and deserves more recognition. Like the post above says, in Dragon Ball he plays a major role, fighting in all of the tournaments and even fighting Piccolo (or Junior at the time). He's only human so of course he's going to be outclassed by the Saiyans as they progressed, the villians were only fit for them, not a human. He put in his work during the Saiyan/Namek/Garlic Junior(filler but oh well)/Cell and Buu saga. He's the only human that can honestly say he fought all three of the major villians! He fought Frieza, Cell and Majin Buu! Can Yamcha, Tien and them say the same? One of Krillin's bravest moments was when he sacrificed himself against Super Buu, and challenged Kid Buu in the Other World.
Also when Cell was about to kill that woman and her son, Krillin saved them and survived against Cell. We don't even have to get into the Frieza fight, lol. But yeah, he has my respect overall.

Next to Gohan, Krillin's my favorite character, and he certainly has my respect. Which is why I'm curious as to what he's really done. I was actually even referring to Dragon Ball as well. Even though in dragon ball Krillin is arguably on par with Goku for a majority of the series, he still doesn't do a whole lot. He is killed by Tamborine which (In my opinion) gives Goku the drive to kill Piccolo, and ya he fights in the world tournaments but never makes it to the championship. Really I wanna know if he ever played a Critical role in the downfall of any of the main villains. Something I had forgotten about though, I have to agree with Oko, dating Maron is definitley his biggest accomplishment. Kakarran (talk) 02:40, February 2, 2013 (UTC)
Just to toss it out there.... for his sake..... he does give roshi the motivation to train goku as well as him selve via mags and mermaids.
He uses a wish for #18. He also marries an android. mabey suggesting that Krillin influences the androids?
