I know that Goku got energy from Trunks, Gohan, Piccolo and Vegeta when he fought Broly and beat him but they were basically passed out so they couldn't have had too much energy to give to Goku. Would he be able to beat the SAME Broly if he were SSJ3?

SSJ3 Goku vs Broly isn't even a contest, especially considering we're pitting him against the weakest incarnation of Broly possible. Broly, at best, is only above that of a SSJ2 Gohan from the Cell Saga in my opinion, and thats being generous considering so many people out there like to believe he's lower than Super Perfect Cell. A SSJ2 Goku is probably about even with Broly, meaning his SSJ3 form would be 4x stronger based off the multpliers. So, yeah, Goku completely dominates Broly at SSJ3. I mean just think about it for a second. Like you said, Broly was defeated by a weakened FPSSJ with the energies of a bunch of weakened saiyans. In his second movie, he was defeated by 3 SSJ's. I'm not saying he's weak or anything, but judging from the facts, Broly just can't keep up with a SSJ3 Goku, doesn't matter from which movie. Sure, Goku's ki drains in that form, but Goku would be done with Broly long before that ever happened.

Broly Wins with Power, Goku wins Overall[]
If we account only for how strong they are, Broly as a Legendary Super Saiyan beats out SS3 Goku's power level by 200,000,000 (1,400,000,000* to 1,200,000,000**)
This ignores the important fact though that Goku has something worth fighting for, which Broly lacks. Because of that, Goku has been able to defeat more powerful opponents in the past.
Since the the power difference isn't so vast between them that Broly utterly dominates Goku, it is reasonable to assume Goku would win, though it would probably take everything he's got to pull through.
