Broly most likely had it underneath his clothes. However i'd like to point out Bio-Broly had one until he turned all sludge like.
He's not tailless, unless his dad removed it and this scene was never shown[]
As a baby next to baby Goku you can see his tail.

imagen broly as a great ape and being uncontrolable. plus if you think about broly`s power and speed plus his legendary super sayain form, i would cut his tail off. well in bio-broly he wasent as strong but he was still strong enough to beet goten, trunks, krillin, and 18. in bio-broly he did have his tailHurley10 13:42, January 17, 2012 (UTC)hurley10p
i hadnt seen bio broly yet but they might have regrown his tail or it was in his pants
You never see Broly with his tail adult wise. Kid wise yeah he has it of course and I don't know why it would be hidden under his clothing. It is odd since his dad Paragus clearly had his tail wrapped around his waist. My theroy is that he had it removed much like with Goku did to keep it from coming back.
The reason is kinda obvious, that he had a hard enough time controling him otherwise and if Broly did turn into the Ozaru the Mind Control device would not grow with him and that would've shattered.
