Young Elder Kai,[2] is the East Supreme Kai of Universe 7 from 15 Generations Prior (１５代前の東の界王神 Jūgo-Dai mae no Higashi no Kaiōshin, lit. "God of the East King of Worlds of 15 Generations Before") to the current East Supreme Kai, Shin.
Appearance[]
He has a grey (in the manga) or purple (in the anime) mohawk and a much younger face than Old Kai, giving him an appearance similar to Shin.

Background[]
The East Supreme Kai lived his normal life on the Sacred World of the Kai until one day an Old Witch arrived, she snuck up on the Supreme Kai while he was reading a comic with the intent of taking his earrings. She managed to take one from him, which caused the two to fuse permanently into Old Kai, however the former Supreme Kai's personality remained dominant in the fusion with no traces of the Old Witch (only the form of her face).[3]
Fusion[]
Main article: Old Kai The permanent fusion caused by the Potara fusing of the Supreme Kai and an Old Witch. The Supreme Kai remains in control of the fusion, still considering himself the Kai and referring to the witch as a separate entity. Due to the Old Witch being elderly, he inherited her elderly appearance.
Equipment[]
- Potara - Earrings worn by Supreme Kais and their apprentices. Despite being worn so casually, they have incredible properties, allowing two individuals to fuse or permitting the wearer to use the Time Rings.

Young Elder Kai is a playable character in IC Carddass Dragon Ball.
In Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Elder Kai reminds Chronoa that he is only about a millennium older than her, indicating Young Old Kai was born 2000 years before 75 Million Before Age as he is only a millennium older than Chronoa herself (with his aged appearance being due to fusing with the Old Witch) who was born around 1000 years before 75 Million Before Age.
